  1. Thats the responce I got before i had the land, the permission and some funding... Look what I got??
  2. Might aswell close this thread. Thanks guys. I actually thought I'd get a bit more support from you guys... Clearly not. Charlie
  3. Whats wrong with trying? I'll speak to a few contacts about funding Charlie
  4. As I said, I don't like giving up and I'm not giving up on this.... Charlie
  5. I was never told, this will help us, because of the point I said earlier. Anyway, we have nothing to loose... We have 10k from BAA... Ignore the link, dan has redirected it to a rick roll... And I can't edit the post. EDIT: I've removed the redirection now. I don't see what the problem with me persuing the trials park.. We have worked so hard to get further than anybody else has before in getting a trials park, Why stop now? If we fight hard enough, we will get it... If I want to do it I will.. Sorry about Dan changing the link, I don't see any reason for doing this. Charlie
  6. He's part of the company that funded us and generally helping with the build. He was basically the bloke we contacted/had meetings with.
  7. Yes mate, in Braintree, near Chelmsford
  8. His email address is already public. It's on the sport Essex website. I think this is a great way to show the sport from multiple views and shows the amount of people that would be interested in the trials park. Maybe it's a good idea to put a bit of personality into the emails, maybe say where your from, your age, how often you ride e.t.c. Charlie
  9. Right guys, As some of you may know, We have managed to get pretty far in getting a trials park built.. We have permission to build it. We have funding to build it We have land to build it and we also have a professional designer to design it. BUT The guy who i am supposed to be contacting has chosen to start ignoring my emails... I've sent him Danny Mack videos and news items e.t.c. and he's totally blanked me. So, what I need is for you guys to email him telling him how amazing the sport is and why we need the trials park BUT PLEASE ONLY EMAIL IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE RESPECTFUL, SPELL PROPERLY AND ACTUALLY ARE GOING TO SENT SOMETHING WORTHY OF SENDING, WE DONT WANT TO GIVE TRIALS A BAD NAME... Use the subject "Great Notley Trials Park" His email address is: alistair.russell@sportessex.org.uk Feel free to include your videos (again nothing disrespectful) http://onemotion.co.uk/gtnotley.pdf Designs are there, for reference. EDIT: If you don't want to send an email, just posting some ideas here would be good Charlie
  10. Lol, Errm... My brake booster seemed to make my brake louder, because it amplifies the vibrations. Also: Pads have nothing to do with it as better pads would probably make frame flex worse... If your going to comment, make it worthy... Brake boosters basically stiffen the frame because in braking, sometimes the frame can flex outwards, causing damage to the frame and effecting brake power. Some frames have built in Brake boosters or some frames are stiffer than others. I'd strongly reccomend running a booster as it protects your hose/brake and it also can act as a nice little seat Charlie
  11. http://tinyurl.com/mlvmwk Learn how to use google.. Christ.
  12. Nothing wrong T-Pro's especially the '08 models And the T-Comp is 5mm longer
  13. Okay... I don't.... I just don't like my work being used without any recognition, it's not much to ask for a small bit of text, is it?
  14. I was only asking for advice. The laws are: If somebody takes a photograph, they automatically own rights of it, (unless other wise stated) and are able to do what they wish with it. (if it is taken in a public place) Hence all the Paperazzi getting away with murder. Yes mate, I did indeed. Thanks for the comments. I'm not going to take him to court, I would just like a bit of text saying that the image is mine e.t.c. This post is not meant to make Heatsinkbikes, or anybody related to Heatsink bikes look bad, I was merely asking what others thought of the situation. Sorry if this did come across badly. I'm going to email Heatsink when I can Thanks for the advice, Charlie (I like you too muel )
  15. Yes. EDIT: Just seen your edit HAHA
  16. I think I will have a word, although. It's not that much of an issue. Thinking about it, I reckon Steve-o created his profile and used the image Just a little link would be nice.
  17. Hello. I've discovered my Photo being displayed on the Heatsink Bikes website.. They have given me no notice or displayed any copyright info... I'm just wondering what everybody thinks about this.. If they asked, I wouldn't have a problem... It's just the fact that they used it.. I would have been fine if they just offered a small link.. (or maybe a set of pads ) http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=riders The image is found next to Steve Rogers, They also claim on that page "Copyright 2009 heatsinkbikes.com" although on my flickr I display a similar message for myself. Charlie EDIT: http://www.flickr.com/photos/charliejennin...in/photostream/ forgot to link to the image
  18. I'd know by the sound the hub makes while riding it, wouldn't I? Do you know of any problems with the Titanium Drivers?
  19. Ok, Well I want other opinions on it.. Sorry!
  20. I was asking the opinion of the whole forum, maybe someone that has owned a profile before? Don't have a fit about it. Jeez'.
  21. Hey I've been having a few problems with my bike. It was a neon, but as you probably know, they have some serious manufacturing problems... So eventually my chain managed to wear through my frame, causing a hole.. I've solved that by building my T-Pro again, but now I'm facing problems with my bottom bracket which I have bent (Echo Internal ISIS) I'm not able to get the tool into the BB to tighten it because of the bend in the axel and freewheel (Tensile 18T) has got worse as I now can actually tension my chain without it cutting my frame in half along with my wheel with 28/32 spokes... EDIT: I have also f**ked my Headset, this also need replacing So, I've thought about my options.. and have found a wheel for sale. It's a Profile with a Titanium Driver laced to a Try-All rim. I've heard a few bad things about the Drivers breaking especially on the Ti models? (Weird because Ti is stronger?) I just basically wanted to ask if this is true and if anybody else have had similar problems... Obviously after getting this wheel I'd need a few other things, for example.. a sprocket... So i've made a list.. TrialTech Ti Bash £33 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...p;category_id=1 Try-All ISIS with Bolts £50 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...p;category_id=2 Trialtech Carbon £38.17 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=104 Sunline Logo £12.71 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=133 Onza Internal Headset £11.74 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=88 Trialtech Sport Screw On £17.62 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=73 KMC Z510 HX, 1/8''£15.66 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...p;category_id=7 Delivery: £4.00 Total: £184.07 Would this lot run okay with my Profile, T-Pro and my Try-all cranks? Is there anything you wouldn't buy or change for whatever reason? Cheers, Charlie
