  1. I have noticed recently that a lot of people seem to be riding mod. I have a stock but wondering whether it is worth me changing to a mod. What do you think?

Are mods easier to ride than stocks?

What frame do you think I should get.

  2. I think almost everyone does this. If you just stop you will tend to pull the rear brake side of the bars slightly harder and may set yourself off balance. If you feel comfortable doing it then carry on. As long as it doesn't hinder your riding then there is no problem.

  3. Easy, all you need is some super glue and a hammer.

    ha ha ha love it.

Hi, just thinking about this and don't i need a jig to keep the wheel strait?

    Cheers, Jack

You are going to need to make sure that your wheel is round and true. Also are you going to dish it to one side or the other? I would take it to a shop and ask them to build it. It will cost you about £15-30.

  4. Just Want To Know What Use Guys Do Too Keep Your Bikes Looking New

What Do You Do If Brake Cables Are Rubbing Against The Frame

If you got rich parents you could get them to buy a new one for everytime you ride.

failing that you could maybe just look after it.

  5. Quality vid. Just loved it. Danny Mac is amazing

great riding but thats gotta be the worst filming I have ever seen. Everything is out of frame, and filmed from a terrible angle. I couldn't tell how high a single side hop was.

What are you on about. The filming was very good.

  6. i am a street rider for carlisle, i ride motorbike trials at a high level and have wanted to have a go at a couple of push bike trials, does anybody know when and/or where there is any good comps near carisle or in cumbira? cheers,

    bingle

Have you got a push bike trials licence?

You wont be able to race without one.

  7. It is easier to control your back wheel with your rear foot. so if your right foot is back then it will be easier to move the rear wheel to the left.

If you watch videos of people doing bunny hops they tend to twist the back end a bit with the rear foot.

  8. You could start by learning to balance with your front wheel on something like a milk crate or beer crate. Once you have the balance sorted try pulling your front wheel up so you are on the back wheel. See if you can find the balance point (Remember to keep your pedals parrallel to the ground), Once you have found that then try hopping the back wheel up and down. It becomes more like a rocking motion with your ankles and the balls of your feet. When you feel you are losing your balance try and drop the front wheel back onto the crate and then regain your balance and try again.

You can strengthen your calves and ankles for this by standing on a step facing up the steps, with the balls of your feet on the edge of the step start to drop and raise. Basically a calf raise.

Another way to learn the basic hopping motion is to try doing little hops with both wheels flat on the ground. Do it with your brakes fully on. This will get you used to hopping motion.

    Hope i have helped.

  9. By the sounds of it your frame is powdercoated. It is designed to be very strong but also flexible. I would check out to see if there are any shot blasters in your area.

Bob jackson cycles do it for a fairly good price.

    Hope this helps.
