  1. Has anyone ever seen a T-Rex with a bash guard? The funny bits on the down tube and the chain stays are the mounts. But of all the research I've phone so far, none of the pictures have it in place, but i haven't found a full spec yet, but I think it must be for an aftermarket guard? Which would be a strange thing of Onza to do!
  2. Thanks Ali&rusevelt, I stumbled across it on ebay last minute and at under £20 for my first frame, with a rear hs33 I thought I couldn't really go wrong. I've had some good and bad comments about it, but I think it will suit my riding style once it's built, if that makes sense? I'll try supercycles as I've email'd onza and had no reply as yet, fingers crossed! It's kinda hard to build something you know very little about, when there arn't many people who know much about trials full stop in the local bikeshops near me. And especialy when your trying to do it on a budget too! Lol:- If it wasn't for this forum I think I'd be completely lost!
  3. The build is starting to take shape now . So far I have got, Onza T-Rex frame, seat and Hs33 rear brake, Onza forks, disc and V mounts. Hope Mini 185 front disc brake, or a V/Hs33. The frame and forks are going to get powder coated next week, (or should i get them polished?comments please) I keep missing cranks on fleabay, which is annoying to say the least, but once I have some I can get a bb, as at the minute I have no idea what axle length to get to have a nice chain line, fingers crossed in the next couple of weeks I can get some build pic's up
  4. Miles really, just got the frame and hs33 rear, so I need everything, I've been looking but budget and time are against me, its so long since i rode/built bikes it hard to remember! sizes etc. Sorry missed your reply, I'll look them up on the menbers list, thanks. EDIT: he's from Shropshire, bit far lol
  5. Sounds good, Im 6ft 1 so i think a mod might be a little small for me, but a 24" sounds interesting! have you riden stock bikes to compare the two?
  6. Hi every one, I am looking for trials riders in the north wales area, Im in Denbigh. Im starting to build up my first trials bike, and thought it might be usefull to try a bike or two to see how i like different stem bar reaches etc. I have done some searches and been looking at other peoples bikes, but Im a total noob to trials so i havent really got a clue which direction to go with my first bike. So far I have an Onza T-Rex (2001) frame with a rear maggie hs33, so i really am starting from scratch, and on a tight budget too (i cant post in fs or wanted yet so thats out :$ ) If you ride near me say hello, if not and you have any surgestions as to parts and the like then feel free to add your comments. Thanks in advance people, Daz

  14. Oh dear!!! No wonder you ended up back with us pre members! Why are you always like that? Sometimes you post really good replys, then you act like a total mong towards someone for no reason. Why? Surely you can't have a problem with everyone on here?
  15. Totally agree! As an ex cycle mechanic, a cheap v set up very well with a good pad, will out perform almost anything that has been set up badly. . . . .

  17. I have the magura hs33 on my xc mountain bike, you just need the evo 1 mounts, and you'll be up and working. I do recommend a good booster though as the mounts on my kona flex something stupid with out one!

  21. Hi there, I think if you read the rules or the guide to validation, your not aloud to sell in nmc! Check them out, there at the top of the page in new members area. Once your validated you can then put the frame up in the for sale section. Good luck )
