  1. That actually made me laugh... well done! lol
  2. Thought this would be a bit of fun. All you have to do is write up the worst things that have happened to you on your bike within a realy small amount of time (e.g 2 weeks). my terror story has just finished hopefully. Two weeks ago i managed to rip all the threading off my rear hub, A minor inncovineince but nothing to bad. I bought another hub and within 5 days the threading had gone on that one!, I went back to the shop and borrowed another hub from them, just for a few days as they told me i would easily be able to claim the hub on its warranrty. A few more days passed and i was just doing a pretty small gap (was actually showing off to some girls... dont judge me you all do it lol) and the chain decided to give up and snap so i managed to land straight on my arse and was all pretty embarrising. I replaced the chain and then the worst one came, I was out and after just over an hour of trying i finally managed to get up this fairly high wall so decided to finish it off with a 180 off the edge back to the pavemnt but then as i landed the bottom bracket decided to snap. i have just litterally gotten in from hospital with my ankle in cast for 6 weeks... not good! Anybody got a story like mine or even worst please share it as im going to have a lot of spare time on my hands lol. Thanks.
  3. Yeah its fixed at the bach wth the freewheel at the front. Thanks for being blunt with me i had a feeling that would be the case nut could you suggest another hub that would possible last longer. The one i have at the moment is a onza one but im unsure whitch one but i think it was about £30 brand new and at the moment i have give or take around £100 to spend thx.
  4. the threading has gone on my rear hub so the sprocket just spins around when i pedal. I would obvisouly like this problem fixed as im not sure if anyone knows but it can be pretty hard to ride a bike when pedalling wont move you forward lol. im a complete tool fail i cant tell a spanner from a hammer but would like to try and fix this myself and was wondering what sort of tools i will need. Also i need to replace the rear hub aswell and i have about £100 to spend including tools and i want a decent hub so if someone could steer me in the right direction would be appreciated. thx!

  8. this is a silly one but i dont think i would of done it unless someone said it would help... they said to move both brake levers around until i find the comftable and after doing that i was shocked about how much eaier everything seemed to be

  10. This may sound realy silly but i was trying to learn to pedal kick for absolutely ages and i heard from someone that moving your rear brake lever further down the bar so you can only reach it with one finger helped, i didnt think much of it at the time but after going out one night with some mates and a set of allen keys i decided its worth a shot, and i found it so much easier and after litterally 5mins of preactice like that i couild do them pretty well hope this helps dude good luck

  15. got into it by complete fluke... went local bike shop to get some catalogues cos i wanted a load of bike pics and everything over my garage and one of them happened to be a onza catalogue... on the way out someone who worked there said if im intrested in trials he is selling a saracen zero i think it was called so i asked if he could bring it in and if i could have a play with it and it went from there

  18. attempted a pedal kick off a wall a lil bit taller than me (im 5'11) and at the last possible second i had one of those wat the hell am i dong moments so tried to bail out, i let go of the back brake that was holding the front up obviously (i know it was dumb) so obviously just fell down the wall with the bike inbetween my legs and when i hit the floor my legs were both sticking out either side so my arse had a nice lil visit with my frame i am pretty sure the bike actually entered where no bike should ever go cos it was f***ing painfull

  21. some guy down my road has just bought one and its a realy easy bike to get onto the back wheel wheel with and to learn the basics... from what i can make out aswell it is also a very strong frame as he is a pretty big guy and has bailed out at a few times from pretty high ledges and its been completely fine, not even a scratch hope it helps
  22. hey guys im aaon and i ride an onza t-mag which is pretty knackered atm even though i have only been riding since new years day (it was a second hand frame with all second hand pats... except my wheels which i love!) i live in dunstable and im a lifeguard at a few leisure centres dotted about all near me, i mainly ride around dunstable but as its a bit rough and smelly (chav infestation) i try to get around differnt places as much as possible and have just started going to harpenden as often as i can (hold your applause i know im good)
