Yes one issue I thought was that it can change the chainstay length slightly.
How does it affect a disk brake ? If there is range for a rear wheel to move can it affect the operation of the rear disk?
Can someone please explain to me the benefits of horizontal dropouts to vertical?
To me horizontal look like more hastle whereas with vertical the wheel cannot move so there is less maintenance and a sprung tensioner can sort out your chain.
Am I missing anything? Are horizontals used to save money, weight and for aesthetics?
Id choose the same and cant wait to get my 20.1 built up.
The 24.1 frame does look really nice also. Its a shame they dont do a slightly better spec with that frame for say £200 more but maybe it would affect the sales of the Arcade?
I know what you mean, it would be a gamble buying one of these with no track record however for £700 the spec looks to be a bit better than you get on the Alias. Hubs ,freewheel, brakes and tyres all look to be very good for £700 and it's light.
So ive spent most of today on the computer researching various things bike related and came across Extention bikes. Ive never heard of them but they look pretty good especially the one I have linked below named Heimdall. Looks like it could be an excellent budget bike for anyone starting out, I cant see any flaws in the spec?
Also never heard of FXN Store before. Not sure how long they have been around but nice to see more people selling trials stuff.
Anyone on here riding a Extention?

Just came across this article. Anyone know what frame it is or who it's by? It's bloody lovely.

A friend of mine is wanting to get back into trials and ive been trying to convince him that a 24" bike would be better that 26" because he is only 5'8. He was looking at a 26" Echo Pure but I think a Gu 24 would be better.
Is there anything im missing in my recommendation. His priority is something small, light and easy to move around and hedoesnt want a 20". I think at his height the slightly smaller wheels might be better.
Thanks
