  1. Hey, just wondering if anyone can diagnose a problem I'm having with my new (used) bike. It's a Leeson Disk frame, with 360 degree dropouts. Basically, the problem is I can't get the wheel tight in the dropouts. Even if I really tighten the QR skewer, as soon as I brake it goes back to being loose and shifting around slightly in the frame. Anyone have any advice as to how I can get my rear wheel to stay tight in one place using the 360 Dropouts. I've already snapped one QR skewer lever and don't want to snap anymore! Cheers for any help.
  2. Hi guys. On the lookout for a second hand Inspired Fourplay but if nothing comes up soon I've going to go crazy so may have to resort to buying one new. The one I've seen that fit's my budget is specced as follows: Wheels * Front hub: Trialtech Sealed Bearing, Black * Rear hub: Trialtech Sealed Bearing, Black * Chain tensioner: Trialtech, Black * Front rim: Inspired Pro, undrilled, Black * Rear rim: Inspired Pro, undrilled, machined sidewall, Black * Spokes: Sapim Race DB, Black * Rim tape: Trialtech, Black * Inner tube (front): Kenda * Inner tube (rear): Kenda * Front tyre: Kenda K-Rad 2.3" * Rear tyre: Kenda K-Rad 2.3" Brakes * Front brake: Magura Louise 180mm, Black * Rear brake: Magura HS33, Black * Brake clamps: Magura HS33 Drivetrain * Cranks: Trialtech Sport Forged ISIS, 175mm, Black * Front Sprocket: Trialtech Screw On 23T * Chain: Trialtech Lite * Pedals: Trialtech Race Platform, Black * Bottom bracket: Trialtech ISIS * Bashring: Inspired 7075 Seating * Saddle: Inspired Pivotal, Black * Seatpost: Inspired Pivotal * Seat Clamp: Inspired Steering * Headset: Trialtech, Black * Stem: Trialtech, Black * Grips: Trialtech Race Rubber, Black * Handlebars: Inspired Riser, White (White frame) I'm interested in finding out a few more things about certain parts of this build. Back in the day when I was riding a few years back, Trialtech wasn't around as far as I'm aware. Are the hubs any good? Chris King + Fun Bolts was always the best, wondering if this is still the case? Same question for cranks, bb etc. I never had to worry about the RS7's, does the Trialtech equipment hold up in a similar regard? What are user experiences with the Maggy Louise front brake? The Avid cable disk was easily the best brake I ever owned, has it been superseded and is the Louise as good? Also I'm pretty keen to explore running the front cable through the steerer tube. Is this possible with a hydraulic brake? Are the Inspired rims pretty strong? Sorry about all the questions, have searched and found some stuff but keen to hear more, it's been a while! Cheers.
  3. Hi guys and gals, I used to ride about 5 or 6 years ago, before 24" was a big thing. Looking to get back into it just to mess around during free time, but rather than static slow riding like on my old BT Raven, I quite like the idea of flowing around skateparks and doing more streety stuff. What's the deal with the new(ish!) 24" bikes? Are there any that I should avoid like the plague? Like the look of the Inspired but are the 24UK and Echo pretty similar? Would be great to hear opinions, Looking to buy in the next couple of weeks so if anyone knows of any good deals that'd be fantastic. Cheers, Dave
  4. Is your 24" still for sale? Can't seem to find a way to PM you but I'm interested. Please can you email me steepmedia@gmail.com if the bike is still available? Many thanks,
