  1. Okay - no sweat - will edit the original message if someone buys it.

    Cheers,

    Al

  2. Thanks Al, Have checked ebay, but not impressed in general. Will keep an eye on your bike, might stretch to a bit more yet.

    Cheers,

    Dan.

  3. Hi Dan!

Thanks for the offer, but it's a wee bit too low for me - I'd rather keep it in case I ever do get around to having another go on it.

Best of luck - have you had a look on eBay?

    Cheers,

    Al

  4. Hi Al, newbie looking for a 26" long (6'2" and 40+ years!). Have got £275 and live in Bury St Eds. Any good to you?

    Cheers,

    Dan.

  5. The red Toxsin 1 in Hampshire, looks like brand new, but don't see a lot of Toxsin bikes anywhere, just parts. Is it good?
  6. Thanks Shaun, Are echo, zoo and GU all the same make then?
  7. Hi, I'm Dan. Nearly 44 (does that make me the oldest grandpa member on the forum?). Just come back to motorcycle trials after 10 years away (my son is now 10!!). Been kite buggying for the last couple of years, but wanted to get back on a bike again. Need something to practice balance and build core strength on, as I can't ride the Sherco between trials. Also hoping to get my son interested in cycle trials as he's not into the motorbike version at present but loves his Trek cycle. Still looking for a bike, but need something reasonably big, as I'm 6'2" and the wrong side of 16 stone. Will anything stand up to that kind of abuse?? Adam at Tartybikes suggested I need a long 26", so anyone selling similar please let me know (as I can't post on the for sale section yet!!). All expert opinions and advice welcome, ie what should I be looking for for around £250? Cheers, Dan.
  8. It does seem a bit bizarre that when you join you can't take part in the for sale section. Surely most people, like me, found this forum while looking to buy a bike? Now I've found some on offer but can't make a bid without leaving comments on someone's page. Perhaps it would be a good idea for someone who is a full member to post on the for sale section suggesting that anyone selling might want to include contact details. It would certainly widen their potential audience? By the way, like the look of the Toxsin that is for sale at the moment. Does anyone know if it's any good, good price etc?
  9. Hi Phil,

Just joined so can't get into the for sale forum yet. Can you tell me about the Toxsin please. I am 6'2" so need big bike, but some bikes are described as short or long? What is yours please?

I'm a 40 something motorcycle trials rider (not very good!) looking for something to practice and get fit on, so won't be competing on the cycle. I'm also on the
