  1. our two cats, bubbles & olive. brother and sister are rescue cats. lived under the couch in our kitchen for the first few months. very affectionate, however, still scared waaayyyyy too easily. poor babies.......... here's bubbles....... and olive.........
  2. for the front, i like the modulation a good disc brake offers over the 'grabby' maguras. that being said i love my rear magura with plazmatics, a booster and a ground rim. i have a hope mini (2001 model) that i love, rebuilt twice, but i love it.
  3. missed a landing following a gap to brick wall (inline), took my right elbow out of action for 3 months. never got it back to full strength.
  4. echo went just a little too far with these. unsafe for use i think. made for the top 10 riders in the world that rarely use the front end in any serious fashion. but i could be wrong...........
  5. always a sad time when someone moves on from this life....... peace to you, your family and friends
  6. i have watched this many times, there's a few things he does that i can do, like waiting for that red light and falling off! 13 years of practice got him there. do you know he has to take ibuprofen before he rides to numb the wrist pain he gets whilst riding. i bet his real aches and pains will come alot earlier in life than the norm. looks kinda worth it though........
  7. how about a new lightweight tube and a continental mountain king supersonic tire. as for colour scheme i'd say keep it plain and simple. personally i dislike bikes that have too much added colour. what about black forks?. unless you want to add white grips and maybe white pedals.............
  8. my name is lewis, i am 39. background is in racing xc mtb growing up in the uk. enjoyed the tight, twisty, technical singletrack mostly. moved to brooklyn, NY, nearly 7 years ago. initially continued the xc thing, then progressed to riding the local streets, looking for stuff to ride up, down, over etc. eventually snapped disc brake mount on frame and then i bought a mod bike. now in the process of building a 26" street bike and still fit the riding in with a 1 year old carpenter by trade now in the fashion/retail industry following a psychiatric nursing career of 17 years. always enjoyed a challenge that required strong physical and mental agility.............to be continued .
