  1. Well just a random one really, what do all you guys do for a living? I am a fire and security system service and commissioning engineer. Also I am a qualified electrician.
  2. I have found a Bow. as in Bow and arrow. not a very good one mind but makes you wonder why there was one laying on the pavement 2 mins from my doorstep? I have also found £20 which was a result rather than strange.
  3. I considered one of them until I got up close to one and realised that they are ridiculously over priced for what they are. So I bought my 530i sport. I was lucky enough to go up against one a few months back on a straight road and left the poor guy in my rear view mirror. Family car ***! In terms of what car you would want, judging by the original 4 cars you subjected you’re after something small and fun. And out of those 4 I would go for the R32 or the ST. Other options I would consider for £16k Small cars, http://pistonheads.com/sales/1039878.htm - Vauxhall Astra VXR Nurburgring http://pistonheads.com/sales/1029915.htm - Lotus Elise S2 Type 72 with Hardtop. http://pistonheads.com/sales/1022535.htm - Lotus Elise S2 Type 72 Larger Cars, http://pistonheads.com/sales/1015974.htm - 325ci Individual. http://pistonheads.com/sales/897763.htm - Evo 8 MR FQ 320 http://pistonheads.com/sales/1031097.htm - Skyline R33 GTR V-spec 2 http://pistonheads.com/sales/395095.htm - Most awesome E39 M5 (what I want)

    Danny Mac'

Well truth be known, I have always been intrested in trials but never bothered getting ito it. After watching the video of Danny I decided to get back into riding and also venture into trials. Just bought myself a 2nd hand orange zero which im modding, then I shall get out and try to learn how to ride it.
  5. I want to come but my car is knackered. And it won’t be back to the land of the living until next month at least

    Car Damage

As george said, abrasive compound and polish is the way to go. Going by that picture I don’t think you’re going to completely remove it by hand. You may have to go down the route of machine polishing, and a 2 step method. I'm sorry to hear that it happened to her car, some people are such tw@s...
  7. +1 I cant do either, but would much rather watch someone with lots of style and aspire to be even half as good as them.
  8. I have the Bose in-ear phones, they are awesme, very good sound quality. but there is 2 slight problems. The little rubber bits that hold the ear-phones in your ear fall off fairly easy and can e lost and they cost about £80 Also in terms of a remote, i know the apple shop in lakeside do a remote for the I-Phone that has the in built mic as well as the button as per the original remote, However you can plug any headphones into it.
  9. I had a set of Magura’s on my first bike which were good in the beginning then went downhill from there on. Also on my new trials bike it had a maggie on the back, problem is because I run disks on everything I found them so under powered. Therefore my trials bike joined the rest of my bikes and had a hope tech X2 rear disk with the new fully adjustable lever fitted. Even though it has not got the correct rotor ATM (which halves its performance) it is still rather impressive. Once the new rotor arrives I can try it out properly and if I get a chance I may even pos a review. Tf Kart Day

I would be up for this and, I’m sure i can bring a friend if needed. Also i'm not too fussed what track you choose, although lakeside is 20mins for me but i shall drive to where ever you go. (Within reason)
  11. thanks for your help guys. I ended up getting my hands on a rear hope disk. Seeing as the waether is good this weekend i shall try and get out on the new 2nd hand bike and try to learn something.
  12. Right, I spent the last 15 minutes typing out what I wanted to say, and managed to erase it, bugger. *Try again* Anyway, I have noticed that most the trials bikes I have seen and reading a few posts it seems that the majority of riders prefer to run rim brakes over disks. Is this just people’s preference or is there a more technical/beneficial reason behind this? I have mainly been riding street, a bit of dirt and downhill. All of which I run disks on because rim breaks n there defence would not been man enough for the task. But now I have just got myself a 2nd hand orange zero which has a Maggie HS33 on the rear without the brake booster. When I use the brake the leaver will sponge to the bars as the brake pushes the frame away from the rim. Now I know I could just fit a brake booster but years ago my 1st bike had HS33’s with the boosters and they still flexed the frame giving me a spongy feel. So this kind of brings me full circle, Am I missing something or is I just preference? If I do get disks I shall be looking at these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/images/hope-techx2-zoom.jpg Any thoughts or advice / experience from you guys would be great as I’m new to trials and trying to get the bike running so I can finally play. Thanks
  13. Now thats an impressive bit of kit. Also top marks for the photography too.
  14. ah, i will not be able to make this weekend as im working, sorry. hopefully another time.
  15. I might be up for that. my trials bike will be here soon but A ) its going to be 26" B ) I will suck on it. how ever if you guys dont mind me being the odd one out ill bring my 24" street/jump bike. would be good to meet some new riders as ive not been on me bike in years.
