  1. yeah, i point in a random direction, and say ''it's 3 miles that way.'' No i'm kidding, they've stopped filming it now, so i guess it does not exist in fiction anyway.
  2. hi, i'm looking at building up a half decent 26'' trials frame. I'd prefer strength and low cost over it being lightweight. What would you recommend, considering it's on a low budget and i'd rather that the high stress components (e.g. forks, hubs) were bought from new. for forks, what about Onza Fall Guys? and an FSA Pig Pro headset? what size rotor for a front disc, 180 or 203? are there any alternatives to hs11/33 hydraulic rim brakes? bottom bracket recommendations? cheers, rich
  3. from goathland, where the only riding is fast XC on footpaths trying to avoid park rangers!
  4. i'm considering shimano saints, they're a standard at dh races where you need easy, one finger braking and good modulation.
  5. i live near Whitby, when i'm not at uni. There's a decent amount of trials and street riding there, if you get creative with with buildings and manage to avoid the tourists!
  6. hey i'm rich and i'm a member of University of Sheffield Cycling Club. I ride XC and downhill, but i'm looking to improve on my technique, where trials definately helps! I'm building up a GT Hans' No Way' Rey Zaskar Trials frame (as seen on www.hansrey.com and then clicking on 'bikes'). It's a stock frame with dual trials/ 4x geometry and it is extremely stiff and light. If anyone has one, let me know, would be nice to see a pic of a full build! I'm currently in the process of finding some forks, but i can't decide if i'd rather put on some suspension or rigids. I'm finding it tricky to find the right components, such as decent annealed 4130 rigids, wheels, etc but it's slowly getting done. rich
