  1. No, deffinately black forks. Oh and there is no way on this planet that any white is going on it. Especialy white tyres they make anything look like a barbie halfords special!!
  2. I picked up this T-pro as my first frame. It was a bit, well, extremely tatty but I got it at a steal so I can't complain. It was the usual deep grey, I decided to paint it applejack green. What colour do you think will match it best? I'm thinking black all over except for matching green hangers. Also what do you all think of the colour? it's a marmite job you either hate it or love it I think.
  3. I've heard a lot of people have had trouble with Echo lite forks snapping at the magura mounts
  4. True. The way I see it is if your willing to spend £250 on a frame. I would rather obliterate 3-4 £70 frames than 1 £250. It's not a matter of if you break it, it's when you break it
  5. Have a look here, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=36 Aim to spend around £250+ and you won't go wrong. I would recommend getting a second hand frame though, as you will break it. I personally would rather break an ok £90 second hand frame, than a brand new one.
  6. No, I meant what I said. You can part fog but you've got no chance of platting it.
  7. Yeah, I can confirm he's got more chance of platting fog.
  8. Ruptured then reconstructed ACL. I've had 2 operations, been out for nearly 2 years and still have about 6 months of recovery left.
  9. No for sale or wanted in new members!! Read the rules before posting
  10. If you like white. http://www.onza.com/v2/products/2009/comp/comp.html
  11. QUOTE (D A N N Y B @ Apr 28 2009, 08:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>PS: keep an eye out on Ebay and on the "For Sale" section of the forum. If you are patient and check regularly, you will pick up a bargain I did, got a T-pro frame for £30, it's a bit tatty but I will break it as discussed.
  12. Yes its 18. The bike is a bit crap, have a look on www.tartybikes.co.uk
  13. Trials bike all the way, then get the I-phone on contract. That way you get the bet of both worlds. Oh and Vee brakes are not sufficient, they may be ok at first but you will quickly want magura's or disks.
  14. Another solution if its really bad is copper pipe. Trim a length, then using metal cutters slice it in half on one side, flatten it out into a sheet and use the same strip technique. It works exactly the same, but better than using loads of can strips if really bad.

  16. I've side hopped 8ft on a bmx. Whilst moving, centre of the road to the path.
  17. I agree with Tappets and Bigamac. What crank is it? make, model, etc. Just so we know to avoid them if they break that quick.
  18. Yes, longer actually, it brought the logos straight off but the paint didn't flinch. I've got the non drip jelly stuff, the only thing that was successfully burnt off was my skin.
  19. I would just like to congratulate Onza on the strength of their paint! I've just bought my first frame, a T-pro, it's a bit tatty so I decided I'm going to respray it. Well I got out the Nitro-Mor's a splashed it on, all this did was debadge it. Next I tried sand paper, even the extra course stuff barely scuffed it. Has anyone successfully managed to strip a T-pro "the new dark grey model" if so what did you use? I think my next weapon of choice will be a heat gun.
  20. I see the price of petrol has gone up again! Nice vid, whilst watching I was just waiting for one of those planters to flip though.
  21. I would still replace it, as it will fail, its all about when! Probably whilst your back hopping an 8ft wall, not only will you get wet, you will break your bloody neck. Is it really worth the risk for the sake of a couple of quid.
  22. Daveee thats so mean! Everyones got to start somewhere. lol To be honest he's probably better than me!
  23. There is a thread identical to this only a few down the page. Use the search feature before posting.
