  1. Hi there Does anyone know if its allowed to post a topic asking for donations for charity. It was originally planned cycling end to end in august but its now changed to the coast of scotland. We will be cycling 1123 miles over the space of 14 days for 'Help for Heroes'. It can be done using paypal, all the money gets put into a charity account, so i dont need to handle any of the money myself. I Dont want to sound like a scrounge, i just thought the forum would be a good way of raising money. Cheers Lee.
  2. i was planning on going out in edinburgh somewhere but not sure where .
  3. personally the website trials bike seller seems a bit dodgy, fair enough he uses paypal but u need to transfer the money straight into his account there is no order carts on the site so stay away from it. As for bike trials site it looks fine as long as you get an email stating what you have ordered you can claim it all back from paypal if it goes wrong. Hope this helped.
  4. Hi, I'm Lee, 23 years old, not been riding for long, currently riding an adamant A1 but just bought an echo control so will be arriving soon. I have also been doing downhill for a long while and also XC. I am cycling from john 'o' groats to lands end with my old man in august for charity - Help for Heroes so should be challenging. Thanks,
  5. I've only just started aswell, a couple of my mates do trials and i tried their bikes one a short frame and one a long to get the feel. Just recently bought an echo control frame.
  6. Happy New Year all. More riding, doing end to end with the old man this year so stop smoking is a must and cut dwn on the alcohol, riding hungover is a good cure though.
  7. Mate, I'm 23 and not long started out wish i had thought of it at your age.
  8. yeah sorry front wheel gaps onto back wheel. thanks the videos helped a little bit know how to do it now, time to practise.
  9. hi guys, needing some advise on how to pedal hop landing front wheel first. ive taken months to practise pedal kicks and side hops, now onto this and truthfully struggling. whats the best way to get round it without falling off all the time. Cheers Lee
  10. anyone up for a ride a week sunday?
  11. i,ve only been riding 7-8 months, and i spent my first 3 months learning to trackstand with wheels both ways and either foot forward, now coming to the stage where im trying to side hop onto things i feel its easier as i can balance pretty well. Take ur time it annoyed me at first but its paid off now and im enjoying it alot lot more. hope i helped Lee.
  12. Cheers. looks like everyone says the control is a better frame. Thanks for the help guys.
  13. Thanks, was also looking at a ZOO Pirahna.
  14. ive been riding an Adamant A1 Frame for past 6 months but i find it far too long for me so looking at something shorter and lighter.
  15. im working unfortunitely, i prob wnt be back out riding till mid january not got sa day off till the 17th. so ill get in touch then, see if your up for it. hopefully should hav new frame by then.
