  1. this even will be the decider for if we continue to a once monthly event with competitions both indoor and out, if this ones a flop then there will be no north wales trials series, if its a success everyone look foward to  whole new series of competitions!!!

as for transport the train station you want to get to is LLANDUDNO and if your getting stupid train times then your doing something very wrong, it take 3 1/2 hours to get to london on a direct train.

please people i know it can be a very long journey for some but this will be a night to remember and the sat and sunday following will have mental rides organised by us locals.  if you make it up for this one you won't regret it! b+b's start from £12 a night in llandudno, if you want some numbers i'll wander round town and grab a few.

Well me and Tom would be coming from the depths of the Southwest so we have lots of changes, very sorry I can't get there to surport the event but I don't want to be coming home on a night train.

If you do another one will it be a trial or a jam type thing cus im not really intrested in that. sorry

  2. There were big problems at Hook Woods with non-competing riders mucking about. Didn't affect the competition, but if one of them had hurt themselves, the land owner was liable for injuries (I think) hence I got a nudge because it had come up on S7

I suggest, if you're not competing, don't take the bikes. Most comp sites are open for practise though for a few quid

Thats all correct. ;) And we don't want a farmer getting sewed because then they will stop us using their land.

Janson i'm not sure about how the insurace works in Sweden but in the UK it's pretty strict.

  3. BRING THE BIKE. Even if you don't want to ride the comp. The section builders prefer places that have been ridden before, which means that you can ride natural out of section. Nice natural which is cleaned out etc. Also, you can ride the sections afterwards, to see in which class you belong. There have been times I've just looked at a section, thinking "No problem here, I'll just do blah blah" and the minute I get on my bike I get the 'LineVision™', and realize that it's not doable in the way I wanted to.

So bring the bike, you'll thank me later. ;)

Good idea but if your spotted you could get in trouble due to you not being insured. But a good idea if you can get away with it ;) :)

  4. Cheers for the pics!  Some of the sections look pretty similar to last year.

Next World Indoor in the U.K.'s gonna be in January '06, but there should be some WTC Outdoor rounds either in Ireland or in the U.K. at some stage this year?

So is Lampkin so low in the ranking's 'cos he's riding a new bike then?  Are the 4-strokes actually much better or not?  I'm well out of the WTC loop!

There's another indoor trials later this year in Belfast

My opinion on Lampkin is that he's not to fused with the indoor stuff anymoor, he's an old skool smooth rider and not a hoppy skippy rider like Raga and Cabestarney. I think we shall see him shin again once the outdoor serise starts again.

  5. That looks well good :) they really have improved the sections big time (Y)

Im so chuffed the Jarvis came second he diserves it :D

How did the 4rt's fair? I say one last week at a trial but the bloke on it was crap so I couldn't tell how well it was (Y)

    I'm going next year

Edit; Just realised it was Cabestaney not Jarvis  I'm well pissed now

These more stuff about the trials here (Y)

  6. Rich that was nuts :P and Alex :)" what did you do bite your lip when you went over the bars B)

And that gap onto the ponton (Y) Rich you dipsh*t :) I have never seen the water that high there :) in did that gap earlyer this year but when the water was like 10 foot lower :P Did any of the guys from Paddels and Saddels come out to see what you did?

When are you guys next going Exeter cus i'll be there.

  7. but yeah the maxxis is well worth the money and i think they are actually cheaper than the michelin are they not...

    There sort of cheaper :P

    Maxxis Minion ST 2.35-£21.99 2.5-£24.99

    Michelin Michelin Comp 16 + Michelin Comp 24 £24.99

    and Hot S £34.99

so yes they are and arn't cheaper but I've got a feeling Tartybikes sell Maxxis tyres cheaper :D

Anyway :D I would go for the Maxxis mainley because I have had not problems with them and the only tyre that I can find with more grip is the Koxx tyres but I only use those for natural as they wear down to quickley on street.

  8. Its also annoying when they don't have to pay for or earn their parts when theres much better riders working their asses off just to keep their bikes running.

What does it matter if someone has a better bike than you :P and why does it matter how they paid for it :D

I have a really expensive bike but im a shit rider (Y) and I know that there are loads of people with crap bikes who are amazing at everything they do :P

All that matters is that you have fun and if you want to get more competitive don't argue over who has a better bike and how you paid for it just ride and then it doesn't matter how good or bad a rider your bike is it's just your ability. :D

  9. I think i see whats going on...

there are soooooooooooooooooooooooo many people on here that bum Mr scott and buy everything he has just because they think it will make them ride like him, so if there is something CLS uses then he tells everyone and then all the little kids get it straight away...quite obvious really :D

    Whats wrong with that :P

thats very smart marketing and If i sold bike parts I would be after a top rider to do some advertising for me.

The guy is trying to make a living (Y)

  10. Matt any idea, Wen entry forms, will be available. (Y)

HEHE, im asking rather early arent i, well im sorry, but im so exsited, lol. :P

    Cheers mate. ^_^

    Steve

I shall be sending out an information pack in the new year with all entrys and information on the series and also an ACU for and a West of England mebership form.

We will be giving west of England memberships free to everyone who rides (Y) inless your not already part of another club.

Also information about the last round will be inclosed (Y)

  11. as it says in the title, indoor trials event, 6.30-9pm in llandudno there will be 4/5 sections and everything can be moved and re built as we go along if people get bored of the sections.  if this is a success we will be able to start a year round trials competition, indoor all winter, outdoor all summer so come along and help jump start trials comps in north wales.

Nah what I mean is will you have a bigginer route. inter, expert ect

I woldn't bother with elite but I do think you need those 3 routes
