  1. right basically i have a gu typhoon as my street bike but i am starting to do alot of competitions soon so i would like to know which frame to get with rear disk mounts don't want to spend that much really just wanted to know if anyone had and tips on any nice riding frames (not to short)

Onza Limey20 imo rides really nice and would suit comps down to the ground. Feels really comfortable on the back wheel.

  2. I built my old pro2 wheel this way, it had no egg and no buckle. I was well chuffed with myself concidering I've only built 6 wheels and 3 of them were egg'd and buckled to f**k. So yes it does work but if your going to build a wheel which your going to use fora while, just build it properly. No point doing half a job.

  3. limey imo. I rode both when i was up at fort william and the limey feels nicer on the rear than the ice but the ice is flickier due to the longer wheel base but I would say wait for the 320. But I would say limey over ice due the fact that I have a limey and love it.

  4. that is not what you really expect when you buy a $2000 bike.

I could have snapped mine the same way but I welded it in time. Now I have upper right chainstay falling off ecause of a big crack.

This made me think that they made not to last longer than 6 months.

    fixed

  5. In my case, I normally walk through it without my bike. ie: a sidehop, I will start from being stood then compress and leap up onto the object and if I can land it on my feat. It makes me think, I can do this on a bike. Alot of people so far have said that they need to be calm to ride at there best but I dont agree 100%. I find that if I have just had an arguement with someone, getting out and riding helps me think about the situation with that person. It basically clears my mind of other crap that will put me off and only having trials and the situation in my head helps me try new stuff. Also music helps alot. I have a playlist on my phone for riding as their the type of songs that help me relax apart from when the screamo arrives, then I just try stupid stuff.

  6. Problem is, it doesn't say what bike it's for.

People putting 10mm and 0mm are stock riders, and people putting 100mm are either tits or mod riders or both.

How can that produce results you can use? You'd have to guess at which people meant with 40mm, so you'd be better off guessing to begin with.

Or once they've picked the people who are getting a frame, they could get them to give them a mod/24/stock geo for what they want. And then help Black Matter with the colour scheme's and features on the frame. I recon that would be a good way of having a good customer relationship and then if something doesn't feel right when riding the bike, tell them and go from there.

  7. done. also what about mounts a disc 24 would be a god-send in my opinion. And the hub sounds like a great idea (I do like more EP's) but reliability is a main issue. Price is also going to be a concern, if its priced to high people will just get a king. Also will the hub be disc hub?

  8. I ran a 203mm BB7 on my mod, and it was fine really. It was nice in the sense that it just worked perfectly all the time 'cos it was so big it just didn't give a shit at all about getting any crap on the rotor or anything - it just worked fine! Pretty weight beast though, but at the time that didn't matter ;)

    Agree'd

I'm doing that at the moment and its a beast. Just wish my hope worked as the biting point is better on it than on the bb7.

  9. Street

    front: 40 psi

    rear: 20 psi

    Natural

    front: 18 psi

    rear: 9 psi

the reason for my front being quite high in street is because I'm learning foot-jam whips for showing off.

The main reason my natural psi's are low is because up here in scotland it gets wet so the less pressure = more grip.
