Yeah, that wasn't exactly put together well
It was aimed at the atmosphere of it and just how plain fluid it was fairly equally really, although probably more bias towards the fluidity element.
The people I choose to ride with and enjoy riding with are about the exact same things as I am, hooking up with good mates, having some nice fun, chilled sessions and just enjoying it, but as leon said they're all alot older and from a time when that was the only kind of riding there was! (bar comps, but that doesnt really count haha) Luckily for me I got into trials just in time to catch the last few of those people who were riding around here, the majority of whom have quit now.
I just find that the more new-school, younger riders dont really have the same vibe, if you get me? Might just be down here, but 90% of the newer riders really dont understand the concept of having a good, banter-filled session with your friends, it just seems to be all about abusing each other, being a dick to anyone who happens to be passing by, generally acting like a fanny and going sideways.
As for the fluidness thing, if all riding could be like that it'd be absolutely amazing...
True to the extent but up here, I just ride and have a laugh and like the older riders, don't get overly serious when i riding. It mess's the whole ride up if your not having a good old laugh. Also the only time you need to be (semi)serious is in a comp. But fluidity makes it all look cooler.

Hi, just found out I'm going to portland this weekend so was wondering who else would be up for riding. If we meet at the shops at weston, we can get to the spots fast enough. Meet there at the usual time off 11:00 but that can be changed. I will put a contact number up closer to the day as I dont have a phone at the moment.
Add your name to the list;
1.Scott Pearson contact number: 07789331815

I can't beleive you are saying that, you started an argument last time I rode london with you about the weight of someones inspired and started saying how you love your lighter parts as it makes it so much easier to ride.
As for the weight thing my old t-rex with a seat weighs the same as my Limey without one, plus I agree that heavier bikes are not neccesarily worse.
Last week I rode a ancient monty x-lite with a seat and could do more fun stuff on that than on my old echo. ie, spins, bunnyhops and could sidehop a wall higher than what i could do on the echo. Seats arent bad there great apart from when your feet slip of cheap pedals (that hurts the children) but all in all they are there for a reason. You wouldnt expect to see a downhill bike without a seat. But yeah for modern trials, seats are kinda pointless.

How long.......I want one before next year - any idea if this might happen?
If not I may cry!
lucky if you get it before the next ice age
-
a bit long isnt it
Wonder how that would ride.

+1 but i think what he's trying to say is, that as a rule of thumb not to trade with people under 18, i'd say that i respect money alot more now that i earn it myself.
On my course at college there's me and one other lad that has a job... that's 2 out 20 people have jobs on an engineering A-level course
In other words, the under 18s who dont earn there money do not trade with. But how would you know. I go by as soon as the money arrives, the part gets sent and that should be what everyone should do personally.

well i can get this sorted now il get onto him tomorrow for you
Thanks alot for this.

Wow, amazing drop at the end. Especially after a wrist injury, it would be big enough even before the injury. Well done.
-
Or you could od what i said?
I can try but I will have to see what tarty say bout the warranty on it. If I can get a new frame that would be good and then buy a new hub and chain and that should be it sorted then
-
Get some decent pictures up so we can see the true extent of the damage and how its exactly being caused.
Surely that would cause one hell of a noise if its rubbing like that?!
there's only two small scratches, not a groove like I first thought and there's no noise what so ever. Just need to get a new hub.

Not liking the forks
I know, looking at getting some viz or trialtech ones.

I really need some help as I don't have a clue. If so I will phone tarty tomorrow and ask.

only half hour ride and not even doing much. took the wheel off quickly and its only 2 small grooves.
The only solution to this!Run a 12tooth cog. Your bike will ride like shit if it's 13tooth as that is too light. Plus it won't rub anymore.
still rubs
