  1. Now then edward

  2. hey not looking to start an arguement sorry guys i am just trying to work out the best options before i buy so i can enjoy riding and not be held back by a slightly cheaper frame that aint what i need thanks alot for the help happy riding guys
  3. ah well i am sure i can find the extra £50 but is it cheaper to buy a new non disk brake hub, and fit the old rim and spokes, or buy a whole new back wheel? thanks
  4. okay so magura brakes can fit on a 20" bike, and they do come with adaptors for vee mounts but i know that they can get expensive, but if they are really as good as i have been told then i think they are the best option thanks alot guys happy riding
  5. yeah i have a horrendous time with cables, cus i always break the caps off the end by accident and end up cutting my hands on the frayed ends so the idea of getting magura hydraulics which it says need minimal maintenance, seemed immense but if they wont fit on the onza rip, i will just stick with cables xxx
  6. kl cus i have mountain biked, and i always kept my brakes rock solid, so the slightest tap and i was nearly over the bars, and i got kinda found of it, so i want it to carry on, and i have been told brakes like this are the best for trials thanks again xxx
  7. can vee brakes be similar in power and modulation to magura's? or with the right pads? xx
  8. i will do thanks for the advice happy riding x
  9. ah kl, what brakes would fit? cus i am new
  10. after some loong thinking i have decided that an onza rip is a good choise for me, affordabel and upgradable, but it has vee brakes, and i wanted to fit magura H33's on the back, is there an adaptor kit? and if there is is it good or a bit of a compramise? and is there anywhere you can recommend getting it from, cheers
  11. thanks alot i love looking after my bikes, i have a moutain bike and bmx, and they have never gone in a for a service!!! i keep them running well on my own, i think it is so much more personal when you are fixing your bike so thanks alot for all the help, it has been really good getting to talk to people who love the sport, happy riding thanks again ed,
  12. oh yeah sorry one last question, are hydraulic rim brakes a good buy, or more trouble than they are worth cus apparently bleeding the systema nd getting the balance right is difficult, apart from that thankyou very much, hope you get some good rides
  13. yeah i ahve been having a nose about, and i like the looks of the bikes on echo's sight, but they look ver very expensive, the idea of buying a cheap one, and getting better parts slowly appealed to me, cus it means that i can get the bike that i want, it worked well with my bmx,a nd i now have a bike that is completely personal, so i will do that with the trials too thanks for all the help guys happy riding
  14. good cus i have been warned that it is an expensive hobby but that has not put me off surfing or sailing anything for the rush any recommendations when it comes to 26" bikes? i have been looking at the onza hitman, and i am allowed about 350 for my birthday, any good bikes for around that price?
