Looks good other then your rear brake lever is on the wrong side

Hope you can turn the shutter speed up on that camera.

I have had lots of frames replace under warranty for cracks in welds or welds completely breaking. Never had an issue with other scrapes / scuffs in frame. Includeing my Schwinn frame haveing a hole in the chainstay tube from my chain rubbing on it. Schwinn replaced it with no questions asked with a 1 year newer model frame then what i had.

Should be no problem at all to have the frame swapped out. Crack at the weld is a frame defect and covered under warranty.

Got a lucky son Shorter stem will help, your local bike shop may have a shorter stem then the 70mm. When i got my frist mod at around age 10, i was much to short for the stock stem so we put a road bike stem on it. Did not hamper my riding or progression at the time.

I say ride how ever you want, there are no rules to how you ride your bike, and don't listen to what any one else tells you.

From my experiance of braking bike frames and random parts when i was BMX racing. Warranty was from origonal purchase date, or 3 months on the replacement part.
