XP to 7 is amazing but Vista to 7 is even better. i got a new laptop with vista and got soo pissed off at vista after 2 days that i installed 7. Se7en ***! (Y)

the way i look at it is ; does one magura caliper work better than two? the same idea, 2 calipers with a cross over of some sort. more fluid in the line. does each magura caliper get less fluid because there are 2 of them? no. that would make the brake feel very spongy or not work at all. IMO, yes, you would get a significant advantage because of the greater surface area and less heat (the concept the gatling gun uses, more barrels less heat on each) on each caliper. id love to see this tried and tested.

ive tapped my shins abit to where im bleeding through my pants and a nice bruise on my back from a slipping rear brake. thats it i think.

IMO, the most important things are brake pads, helmet, and then shin guards. id rather protect my tail bone and brain before my shins. i gotta agree that a pedal in the shin hurts like hell.

hey! try pinkbike.com too. as for a stock bike, i recommended the adamant A1. very solid bike. looking (new) at tartys, in the price range you can get an onza. keep an eye on the used bikes, many times a better deal is buying a used bike than a new one.

ive never heard good about trials UK. as for bionic, get one. i juts built one up on monday and i love it! ive never ridden a neon though so i cant compare.

in europe. i even live near one of the more predominant bike trials shops in the US and i only know of 3 trials guys(5 including moto trials, and one of the 2 moto trials guys is my dad) and i work with all of them. i converted one and the other is just trying to try out the sport. i wish it was bigger here in the US.

if needed you could get a bolt extractor that goes on a drill. drill it out a bit then put the extractor thing in and reverse the drill, itll grab the bolt and back it out.

i eventually want an ENO or worldcat FFW and im pondering getting some creepys for it. i got this set for 10 bucks and they are definatly worth it. im still playing with the stem height, ive only ridden it for about 10 mins total. i just need a bash plate now. thanks for all the compliments. its my first build and my second ever trials bicycle. loads better and my OLD monty 221. sadly it cant send the night in my room. its gotta wait for me to go to college for that.

im a moto trials guy. i ride a 2002 Gas Gas 280 pro i have found that i can transfer skills from the bike to the moto and vice versa but i mainly ride bike trials because its fun.

a comment on the 24". why not go 26? i hear 24" trials stuff is fairly difficult to come by and you are probably used to 26 from the MTB.

as for the freewheel, a lot of guys seem to like the tensle or the ENO. 72+ engagement points. the wheel, i would probably try to fix it, but if its egges badly probably a new rim. unlace it and see how bad the damage is. buying a whle new wheel is by far the easiest way to go but if you have the know how or have access to the know how just get a rim and re lace it. this will most likely be the cheapest way. the BB, i was going to suggest an echo BB. you could go something like try-all or moe too. i had a FAG BB in my monty, the only reason i replaced it was because i broke the cups by over tightening it. hope you bike sees good times soon!
