  1. I'm not really understanding this... He came on to complain about arguing and feuds between trials riders and how it wasn't the same back in "1997" when everyone was peaceful, and calm and frolicked about happily arm in arm with one another Yet he has just created an arguement with the entire trials community... Good for you, I wish you luck in your quest for validation
  2. The wheel has not yet arrived, and like i said, i have done this before with maguras... and it is possible, My question if you had read the post was is this a problem with Vee brakes and is there anything that could be done to help...
  3. It is an old 'Da Bomb' frame... Definately not a rear disk going on there In regards to pushing the wheel right in, i think that's what we did last time, as the mounts are for an old 20" rear wheel only, so the brake was biting on the tyre where it sat originally, so we pushed it right in and had to slant the brake, but this was with maguras, so I hope it will do the same with a Vee brake... Cheers for the help guys Alex
  4. Hey guys, My friend has bought a 19" rear wheel for his bike, however, the bike has a 20" rear wheel on it at present so the v mounts that are on the bike at the moment I'm guessing won't fit because they will be too high up (?), was wondering if this will be a problem or if it will be alright? also anything else i need to do to the frame to get it to fit? I did this before with maguras but used the EVO mounts and it seemed to be ok, is there anything like this that can help with Vees? cheers alex
  5. This is really really interesting topic, Was there anyone that bought a trials bike before they'd ever ridden one?
  6. I'm thinking thats what it was for me, watching my old mate doing it and thinking oooooooh i like that lol...
  7. Hey guys and girls, I've been riding trials on and off for about 4 years now, but i can't remember why i started, I always see posts about "i want to get my first bike... What should i get?" but I'm just interested in what it is that makes you want to start trials? Or why people started when they did?
  8. Insurance on an astra is incredibly low surprisingly, second year of driving the astra sport 1.8 16v insurance is under 1k... Andy, loved that Peugeot lol
  9. I've got a standard ACS on the T pro at the moment, hate it. Falling to bits. I've had a tensile and i loved it, never skipped, really loud and a great feel to it, but I've got a Viz one coming next week so I'll see how that one is. I've had a profile hub as well, but that is a liitle bit more expensive .
  10. I've had two T pros now lol, went from a da bomb... to a handsome dog K9, to a Tpro, then to an Aorta, then a python... then i quit! and now back to a T Pro, i love it. So easy to do things with, great to start. Its not too light but not heavy enough to be an inconvienience, A few little changes like a front disk and better freewheel and i'll be thrilled with mine. Keep up the good work lol
  11. Love the mini, I had an old Mini thirty... Then it blew up... Quit trials two and a half years ago, bought a car, and then another, and another.. well 5 really, and ended up with my astra sport hatch, few extras, coilovers, heated seats, remapped ecu, straight through exhaust, tinted front n rear lights, xenons, bertone centre console etc.... And now can finally afford another bike! So i bought an old T pro off of a friend of mine, after two years though i love it... And it fits in the back!!
