well what a wash out today, me an bjh still headed out for a ride despite the rain. we headed across to a indoor skate bmx centre an had a right old hoot on the way there both managing to fall off due to the wet weather. had a realy good laugh an managed to make a few bmx riders want a trials bike an seemed to get on well with some of them well after a bit of bike swapping. to top the day off i managed to get my n96 wet an have had to strip it apart to get the moisture out of it. an thanks ben for supplying some spare pads for me to use for the day as mine hadn't turned up in time.

i catch trains all the time with my bike an i have used a couple of different providers an not one of them has said anything, just make sure you find the cycle part an sit close an keep a very close eye on it as there is a lot of thieving gits that will nick anything.

grrrrr looks like my pads aren't going to be here till late Wednesday. does anyone atending the meet have a spare set of maggy pads with backing i could have off them for a few quid just to get me through the day? pretty please cheers ben

hi all after a couple of rides with a few people round Birmingham its bin great fun and im trying to get out riding as much as i can. so thought i would pop a tread up inviting anyone that would like to come along for a ride around Birmingham. yes i an a bit of a nutter i certainly wont deny that, just because i was doing five foot drops on my first day on the bike side hops of about 4 foot and contemplating a silly drop later on which i did eventually see sense an decided not to. it was a good day out let make next Wednesday the same yea i shall still be there tomorrow, i will also bring my camera an see if i can get some good pictures. i might be slightly hung over tomorrow as tonight is going to get very heavy.

i started on an old barracuda which wasn't designed for it but i made it do it. we all have to start some where an that was me about 7 years ago

a few people have said you need to get out more, but if you have work or kids an cant get out a lot then there isn't a lot you can do. if you have come along that quickly in a couple of months its all about practice mate you seem to have the basicis nailed, there is no limit apart from your fear. just keep practising an it will come cheers Ben

i shall meet you at new street station just before 11 an then ride round to new street gap as its only 2 minute ride if that just behind the station into town.
