  15. I used to ride every day an probably clocked up around 40+ hours a week when i was younger an at school so a lot, now i am older have a job plus a lot of other commitments and when my new bike turns up i will probably aim for at least 15 - 20 hours a week maybe even riding in my lunch to take out my frustration rather than taking it out on my staff or customers :$ i used to love riding trials, yea i used to fall off as everyone does an if you say you don't you have got to be telling fibs but that was all part of the fun, pushing the limits all the time trying that bit harder to do more an more used to get the adrenaline racing through my veins. some people used to say i had no fear an scared the crap out of them on a lot of occasions but i loved it. i ride to work every day about 4 miles each way an i keep finding my self doing little hops an spins when i stop jumping over anything possible an this is all on a nice heavy as hell Saracen, which is in no way built for it but i seem to have the power to throw it around an i can feel the bug creeping back an im riding along imagining myself doing so much. I don't care where I am riding as long as I am riding I love it. I will truly ride till I die! if i cant ride there is no point going on.
  16. wow that looks amazing mate, i love the green an black it looks so nice. how much did that set you back ? i am jealous
  17. cool mate, the quality isn't that bad i have seen a heck of a lot worse. keep it up
  18. hi i was wondering if there are many riders around Birmingham?. i am just getting back into trials after a good few years out an looking for a few people to ride with. here's my msn if anyone wants to get in touch. robinson19852@lycos.co.uk cheers Ben
  19. OUCH you can actually hear an feel some of the sickening thuds
  20. i heard about using fizzy drink an i could see sort of how it would work but is it actually any good? i used to use tar a few years back when i first started trials an it made a massive improvement to the efficiency of my vee brakes.
  21. it took me along time to get the hang of them too, i started by just trying to get my balance on the back wheel an doing small hops with no pedal movement, once you get the hang of this slowly try a little pedal kick in while doing hops on the spot, then progress onto moving forward. its either a case of you will pick it up straight away an off you go or it will take you a long time to get it right with the brake timing just make sure you practice on flat land so not far to fall. hope this is of some help to you, i am kind of rusty ben
  22. i have fallen off loads of time but only realy have one that stick in my head. i went for a hop across a gap but as i did my chain snapped sending me 5 foot down head first luckily i managed to break my fall with my elbow then face planted the floor knocking myself out for 10 minutes when i came round i tried to move but it felt like my head was pinned down so felt the back of my helmet only to find to my horror my handle bars had gone straight through the back of my helmet. when i walked in the house my mum nearly passed out because i was covered in blood due to a nice cut on my fore head a split nose a split lip, i then removed my jumper to find a nice 6'' flap of skin hanging down from my elbow. i went an got a new chain the next day went back an did the hop without all the blood
  23. hi im Ben i used to ride trials a few years back when i lived in Lincoln now relocated to Birmingham, i used to have an old onza cant remember the model, i have been out of it for about 4 or 5 years an i really want to get back into it. My other hobbies are, fishing, golf, nitro rc cars, photography, urban exploring
