  5. im only a newbie but would really love to come to this ride for both days but the issue is i cant afford a hotel room on my own, has anyone got a bit of floor spare i could use? cheers Ben
  6. The main thing is maintenance with a free wheel if its worn or damaged it can either be fixed or replaced. There is alot of wear an tear put on a free wheel so keeping it clean internally an nicely lubed an you shouldn't really have a problem. cheers Ben
  7. i love the music, the video is virtually bmx riding but i still enjoyed it
  8. validation is something you have to earn there is no point making threads like this moaning that you haven't been validated as all it will do a couple of things 1) probably annoy the moderators 2) make it even more difficult to get validated. like it says in the first post for all new members to read. The validation is how it is so the moderators can look an see what your true intentions are, an not to pester the moderators or post pointless topics asking why haven't i been validated! All this will do is work against you an make it a lot harder to get validated. just sit tight input to the forum an show your intentions and eventually you may get validated. Ben
  9. As a couple of people have said it mostly down to personal preference an what you find the most comfortable an easy to ride, if you do go to a mod there are long mod frames out there which would suit your height better. The idea of going to a group ride is a awesome idea as you can have a go on all manner of stock or mod bikes, you might find its just something silly like just the wrong set up on your current stock. cheers Ben
  10. since getting back into trials a couple of months ago i haven't really had the many injuries apart from the usual cut up shins an bruised knees from the stem.
  11. looks aren't all that important as i have not long got back into trials so its going to get a bit battered an im after a long frame, where can you buy them ?
  12. perhaps? i see being difficult hey or is that you ara thinking of selling yours?
  13. ah right yea im getting names mixed up. was it a suggestion ?
  14. pythons a 26'' isnt it ? is that what some one is selling?
  15. what sort of price is that at just found some prices an that is wayyyy out of my price range, im not sure if i am going to stick with a mod or not yet so dont want to spend any where near that much
  16. is that a frame you have or a suggestion?
  17. well i am going make sure that im not working next Wednesday an come across Coventry.
  18. the spongy feeling will most likely be air in the brake meaning they need a bleed. as for the slipping it sounds like one of the washers around your slave cylinder has worn a bit thin causing the clamp not to pull tight to it an hold it in place properly or it could just need a bit of time spent setting it up. ben
  19. im not going to be able to make weds now as i have to work
  20. Hi all i have got a t-bird but find the frame a little short an i am looking for a reasonably long mod frame either second hand if some one has one? or a brand new one if some one can recommend a reasonably priced/quality long mod frame. thanks Ben
  21. back on topic sweet looking bike mate looks better than my t pro. +1 on the rear tyre mine has got front an rear sticky fingers an they are quite poo the rear is always slipping off things (got a nice lump on my knee after today's ride after tyre slip dam things.
