  1. Time to get some pics of me at a sport i can do lol Its a 250 gasser 09. smoothest gasser i have had yet and when you put it on the stop in third on launch it will keep up with the big bikes never needed anything more. @duncy you northern lads get all the best spots to play. i have to travel 1hour to my local training ground. big shout out to tp offroad sport for making his venue what it is with what he has(check the first 2 pic's, built from scratch)
  2. okay, turned my rim into a banana last night. tried to true it using the spokes and snapped one so is beyond this. just put this topic up to see if anyone has any little techniques for bending it back? just to start it off..... i saw on an anonomus MTB site that putting it in the freezer will get it out. I think this is bull and fail to see any engineering principal behind this. but you have to love the imagination to discover/attempt it.
  3. Were you the guy i met at matlock quarry on the 26th? i was on the cobbled together white 24/7 holroyd.
  4. Can any of you point to any places in leamington worth riding, as me and Andrew have not had time to really explore yet. Should probably introduce myself, i am Andrews house mate in Leamington, just getting into bike trials.
  5. If you have built a bike before and are pretty sensible with a spanner then i would go the by a cheap second hand base and modify to suit. thats what i did and i am still tweaking it, you learn loads from it and can really tune your bike into how you want to ride!! there are lots of things were i learned the hard way, but would absolutely do it again!!
  6. Okay, i am looking into my next set of pads and am considering CNC backings?? what are people using, particularly with light grinds?
  7. i got a 3/16th thinking it would be stronger but have found that it is stretchy just like the rest, but it has not snapped yet so can't be bad
  8. i use a cheep acs claw. been fine so far, i am only learning but manage to put plenty of torque through it and it copes fine. the biggest problem is the number of engagement points is next to none, so next time i will prop go for one of the ones mentioned above.
  9. i do like white bikes, i have ended up painting all of mine white at some point or another. why have you got the off set mounts on there, looks like it would manage with out? is there a performance gain??
