Well i dont know about snap, just crack lol And cheers Alex, you helped me alot, hopefully this will prove my friend wrong. or maybe he will just bash his bike off the wall again Kieran
-
Completly worst thing to do, your not meant to use it to get onto walls, its just too protect the chain, like it says on tarty. And you can bash up walls with bashrings i do it all the time, and if he hits it too hard, the frame will crack, though if you hit a bashring far too hard, the only thing that might happen is the bb will crack, whats better a £200 frame cracking, or a £15 bb cracking? Trust me Angus, you don't want to go for a bashplate, go bash ring, like me and Colin never checked his frame, it could be cracked. that would be soo funny!
-
Hey guys. Okay one of my mates keeps arguing with me that bashplates will not crack the frame, or crack the bashplate mounts. So simple question, if you try bashguarding a wall, and hit it too hard a few times, will it crack the frame/mounts. Just to try and prove me wrong, he went and smacked his bike of the wall, and apparently nothing happened, He didn't check though, so yeah back to the question if hit to hard too many times will the bashplate crack either the mounts for the plate or your frame. EDIT: It even says on tarty, its to protect the chain, and if used wrong, is not covered under warrenty, It says something like that. Cheers, Kieran.

Tighten it mate. Angus instead of asking for what one you should buy, ask how to fix your's, cos Adam wouldn't give you a faulty headset.

Whens the next COTW gonna be?
-
Yup, I'm Rab's nephew. He actualy built the bike for me lol. Yeah i love the bars and wheel! It's running pretty solid, the wheel i mean. Okay, so should i tel him to text you so you get his number?? And Fiona hasn't had the baby yet Thanks Yep, you need bolts to put in the little holes beside your dropouts, if you have them Kieran.
-
Erm, I'm almost certain that they don't have snail cam bolt holes. You need to drill holes, but somebody will put a video up for you hopefully, as you cant just drill holes, they have to be in the exact bit. Also on my thread you seemed a little interested in the frame, that has snail cam bolt holes already drilled and ready to use. Pm me about it if you want to mate. I'll drop the price
-
Haha, that was well funny, but yes it must of hurt! Good luck for the you've been framed thing mate.
-
Nah it's okay, i know it was pointless, just a wee bit of a fun nights ride.
-
Stick the bolts in and put it in the hub Very vague but the video should help lol

Yes im making a video with "angua" on here as he just got an echo 07, but will probably start next week, as it will take some time getting used to. I'm not sure, they just have zoo! written on them, 85mm rise i think, made the same as the new trialstech sport risers. Kieran.

Come on inverness people! Must be some others that want to ride?? -
Nice vid Jack! Loving that Pedal kick up that fence! Nice bike too Kieran.
-
Erm, wow!
-
I was just asking him, i already posted what you should get rather than waste your money, front maggies are just a hassle. You have to bleed them, you have to let your tyre down while taking the wheel off, and they aren't fantastic anyway. BB7 all the way, but hey it's your choice eh?
