  1. I just tap the end of the grip on to the bars with the palm of my hand whilst gently holding the part of the grip that isn't yet on?

Works good enough for me but may take some time, but then it wont slip when you come to riding your bike ;)

    Hope I helped :D

If that fails, I would use hairspray. ^_^

  2. Yay thats my old frame woundered if i'd ever see a vid, at least its being used well fantastic vid mate any pics of the actuall bke?

    Thanks:

as soon as I saw that you had posted something, I thought you would comment about it being your old frame :P heh.

Ill go take some pictures now.....

  3. Nice, i wish i had somewhere indoor to ride :/

    cheers,

You could just go outside and clear some sections? I know its not really that good but It might be ok

    Looking good brolioooo :)

Next vid must be on a better camera and outside happy.gif

    Ride tomorrow maybe...

    thank you

maybe i could get that camera at Christmas, bit late but wont effect the camera :)

I'll see what I'm like tomorrow, bit shattered from that ride

  4. You're phone may be 2.0 MP for still but it certainly isn't for video, where as that camcorder records at 720P HD resolution.... much much better. Although it'll require a tripod/stand/someone on beta-blockers to hold it whilst recording.

Riding wise that was really really good, great technique (Y)

mp is more for the camcorders image quality, video relies more on the lens, bigger the lens = better the quality.

Thanks a lot guys, really help full (Y)

sorry, I'm no good with cameras and phones ^_^

Liam n: just seen your edit, thanks a lot hehe :$ lucky for me i have a farm and i can go in there in winter, pretty cool. :turned:

  5. the riding was great! Was almost more impressed that you were wearing a T-shirt ?! :P

haha, I was actually boiling! I just kept riding too stay warm :P

That doesn't matter, thats relating to the image still quality. Check out my youtbue vids, they were done on that ^

camcorder's dont work on mp i dont think. They work by frames per second.

ok, thanks guys, ill read up about them (Y)

  6. Hey people,

Iv'e got some phone clips today and just blobbed them all together so the quality is pretty poor, sorry

    please comment,

more just to show my riding than editing sorry. :$

    comments much appreciated.

Edit: best to watch it when it isn't on full screen for the quality. ^_^(Y)

  7. In fairness, they work well on pretty much any form of ground rim. The only difference you'll see is wear life, but that's basically the trade-off you make between outright performance and longevity. I ran LGMs on my Premier and my Lynx earlier in the year when I had those bikes running, and on my new Sky I've got a set of LGMs on and they've been great. I've been riding in the snow today and even with ice and snow on my brake and parts of my rim they've been absolutely fine. Really can't fault them (Y) Get them set up nice and square and you're good to go. Pretty much all the 'problems' I've seen people mention with LGMs seem to stem from poor setup. Because of the stiffness of the CNC backings, if you set them up slightly on an angle they'll wear quicker and won't perform as well. A few extra minutes getting your brake setup dialled will reward you with a much better brake (Y)

cant agree more with that. (Y)

I think rims make a pretty big difference too, my brake was always amazing with an echo urban rim, but for some reason i just cant get my brake perfect since i got a try all hole rim, I'm not saying there rubbish rims but it just shows how the set up of a brake makes such a big difference. I find it is best to stick with the same set up for a long time as well so you can get used to it and it will wear in nicely.
