  1. If he's really danny mac then we should ask him to make a video saying "Hi, im danny mac and i have just joined trials-forum".... or something along those lines Cheers ollie.
  2. Hello there, i used a rear deng freehub and it was pants! It broke and shattered on me when riding along. As for the urban rim they are great rims i am running one now; strong, light and cheap. Hope this helps Ollie.
  3. Hello i have recently sprayed my own frame, if your looking for a power coat look i would recommend that you buy matt paint, e.g. saterine black. First thing i would do is rub it back to the primer or base coat, then two light layers of saterine black and see what you think i did this and it looks amazing so sprayed my forks to match. Hope this helps Ollie.
  4. Hello there trials forum Recently my rear echo freehub has packed up and is beyond repair, I have recently found a Shimano lx freehub for sale and was wondering if they are any good for trials use and if they have problems. Thanks Ollie,
  5. Hello, I have tried both and i much prefer un-painted smooth rims as they hold better and also when wet gives slight better breaking performance, however Really depends on pads hope this helps Ollie.
  6. hello, here is a couple of cheap ways to protect your frame; Old inner-tubes Garden hose (like Alex said) Old bike tyres Plastic bottles Hope this helps you Ollie.
  7. hi there you could go on tartybikes.co.uk and buy a try-all super slick which is the lightest tyre you can get and has no tread, which is surprisingly grippy. They retail at £30 i believe. cheers Ollie
  8. anyone got a complete rear stock wheel fixed for £30ish

  9. Hi i believe you cannot get echo free-hub sprocket changes and how would 14:16 be dangerous? if chain is tensioned wont matter will it? thanks ollie Also the free-hub has a cast steel sprocket with the paw holders and spring on it
  10. Hi there recently my echo free-hub has packet up, So i have cleaned it and made sure the paws are in engaged on the hub, then i got so metal glue (Alex Dark and others have told me its good so I used it) in the inside of my hub. Although this is well and good my free-hub has the weirdest back gear as it is a 14t. So i was wondering what is the best freewheel I should buy 16t? 18t?. thanks Ollie
  11. Hello there the Onza ice is a very nice frame indeed, but the dropouts have had a tendency to crack. With that in mind the are light, strong(apart from the dropouts). The dropouts are still safe once cracked though so dont let this put you off. Ollie
  12. ok thanks for all your help i have found a local shop and they will re tap my bb thread for £4 thanks ollie.
  13. hi thanks the damaged isnt really bad but i think a thread file would cure it but i i dont think it would last long
  14. Hi there i have recently picked up a zona frame and on insprecting the bb thread i noticed that some of the threads are damaged and i believe that they can be fixed but what is the best method as i don't think i can get a tap that size so would a thread file or something work. thanks ollie
  15. Hi thank you for all your help and also i got the frame for 20 pound with one little dent in the downtube, also my funds are low because i have put all funds into my ped and getting on the road so if anyone could sell me a fixed hub for like a 10er (not likely) then this would help cheers Ollie o Really this is the problem that explains why the paws/rachets keep falling out of place and this is why it jamed and snapped the spring clip hmmm i think a replaced is a must Ollie
  16. I agree but this freehub has been giving me trouble so is it really worth it? Ollie
  17. I would mate but funds are low for the moment so until then i either need some one to give me a hub and free wheel or repair my hub either way it doesn't look good
  18. I would but as far as my funds are I am in no postition to buy a new hub so would like to repair what i have
  19. sure will Also ONE more important thing i have a echo freehub and it has broke on me the spring it self has snapped would you know a place where i could get hold of one of these please, many thanks Ollie
