  1. There is no kinda understanding... It is blatantly obvious why !!!

The big question is- is jt just because of the idiotic uci sections ? You look at biu sections from decades ago- very very different. Very very boring to watch !! Big pogo jumps make super smiles on spectators, and i believe thats the only thing that drive$$ the whole sport.   Charlie and jack look like they are one w their bikes.  So many others look like they are at the proctologist or doing their taxes on the bike/ it looks Horrible.  Look at the top american champions, I'm sure they are amazing at uci sections but riding around they look like absolute beginners- super awkward position and you can tell the body isnt  into it and the mind~bike connection is like 20%.

I also see pogo folks crashing on basic two wheeled things you would never crash on w a normal bike... usually happens when they dont hit right and they drop to the floor in an awkward position on both wheels, just flops the body they only meant for that rear love...

Different times , different world- I wouldnt be mad w a full crewkers or clean, it really is a different set of muscles you use.. From leaning back and balancing to standing up straight on your pogo stick- weird world but the moves are insanely huge so whatcha gon do... Carbon , through axles, oversize head tube.... got me droolin for sure

  2. Y'all sound like a couple of old weak men.  Nothing but progress every ride personally.

It's just fashion? No . Every bike and handlebar is made to be forward, not as extreme as them but... They are all crazy forward.  Absolutely nothing like the old days, putting bars back keeps you in weak mud mind and body... It is the new standard, adapt or complain and stay meager ! ahahahah :P

Guess we'll see in a few years like everything... Believe i was in the right side on that convis stuff a few years ago. Doubt I'll be wrong here !   No one does those crazy up to fronts on old bikes, or the static hooks... just aint the game.  And to say technique isnt going to help you gap... tell me you can't ride without showing me your riding

What do you mean by sport level?

In america it goes beginner, sport, expert , pro.

Lots who go carthy bars in the top uci circuit look like they cannot ride a bike anymore, absolutely horrendous riding. Looks so wrong, so awkward.  Like a woman giving birth to a 1300 pound blue whale, it shouldnt happen.  it looks horrible. Looks like they can barely ride a bike, Like they just learned how to back hop. But they go up a 3 m wall...

A Romanian trials rider did. Check his channel as he has amazing other content!

yes some are over an hour right ?!? Love it ... I really only like watching carthy and charlie and that slovakian mod guy... Some stock guys look like they are riding sport level but appparently the moves are huge... just so so so so awkward.  Charlie and jack are the only ones that look proper evolved w them funky bars

Putting bars back to a normal position helps a lot. Otherwise you need to have small girl flexibility to cope 🙃

ahahahhah putting bars back def makes it a normal ish bicycle but that rear wheel hilarious cheater feeling vibe goes away!  I got plenty of normal bars my norm is inline w head tube! this is the extreme ridiculous, why not... new thing to learn

  6. First days attempts video review, im not dropping the front wheel at all or preloading much... even though it seems like it. Watching charlie he pre loads and drops the front a ton... I tried it quickly today and had great results , just such an extreme angle to the body that I'm not quite used to... Little bit everyday , little different in your 40s that riding as a teenager.. Gonna get it

  7. Someone that spent thousands of hours riding trials bikes that were a struggle to get on the rear wheel... Trying to get into it with my hobo crewkerz (a limp/bendy inpulse r26) w them silly ridiculous bars etc etc... But I cannot get any power into the bike.

I feel like I'm looping out on gaps... The front end just drops when trying to go up stuff, but i can prance around on the rear wheel forever basically standing still zero effort being on rear wheel.  I get it, I just wish I had 1/2 the power... On my gu I could gap literally 1 m farther flat pedalkick.  Granted over bike length gaps on this feel like a small pedal kick... I want to access that full power !!

Any tips? Body position is fully different, watching jack and charlie non stop before/after riding like the old days of revolutin/evolve vhs and my monty x - hydra..

Ok so I tried bleeding my brakes thanks to this video:

My brakes are brand new and just had their levers swapped to some Carthy Trialtech ones so there were still some magura oil with the cooling liquid used by Crewkerz.

I used cooling liquid and did the pump trick to evacuate as much old liquid as I could. I did the normal bleed and the top trick and my levers are still not engaging instantly. Tried the top trick again and it's better but not quite there yet. I will leave it tonight and hope for the air bubbles to come up but I just keep getting some coming up the hose no matter how long I try...

Will leaving it overnight help? Anyone has a clue on what could be wrong?

    Thanks

Edit: just tried the top trick again and it's definitely better but not 100% there. I am kind of anal with brakes as I want it to be perfect and there is clearly a part of the lever strike that is compressing some air before liquid. I will try again tomorrow after leaving the brake rest overnight and I hope for the best. I still take any adviced that could be given anyway.

I'm months and months later, Just get used to it having zero feeling just pull it into mush and it is on, it never slips- it feels like absolute trash but i think thats all it is now... solid hand to bar like ur holding a bar, no extra effort for your finger to oull thr brake... mush. Made for women n childrens hands

  9. Super updates- tried it all..

Put 80ml of trialtech fluid through it, it instantly engages... I can see the fork and frame flexing a TON...

So I'm gonna put a 4 bolt booster on to fix this

Put that on... hmm... still mushy- Look a little closer

The rims are bending in!! Fuuuuuuuuurrrrrr , bought these wheels from Kevin Liu - who I know now is a huge money scammer and no one should associate with (DO NOT LEND HIM MONEY) .  Nothing to do with these wheels, hes stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars and continues his schemeing in china now...  Anyways

I Throw my old wheels on there- HARD AS A ROCK.   Ok finally ...  I also had to remove the tnn clamps and go back to magura clamps- for adjustment, this inpulse frame has poorly aligned 4 bolt mounts- the front completely off... Og magura mountains with that circle of adjustment took care of business. Looking forward to getting this pogo working , thanks for the help...

  10. ahhh right on . I'll bleed a few more times in the hope.... spoiled by my bb7 bbdb caliper from 1998.  Instant engagement and solid like a rock. $7 speed digit 7 lever... Hmmmm . I'll throw this 238 gram four bolt booster on if nothing helps.  It's older than most new street trialers..

  11. thanks for the replies. Someone found a deep ali c video with the real tart showing what I was hoping to find... I swear this was a normal huge thing when it came out but no where to be found anymore... Ancient lost technology :)

Basically after you bleed- theres always air still somehow in system. I bleed on bike, with lever in top position- slaves lower on a stand.  After normal bleed - close everything, open the lever port. Put a syringe in that side- add some liquid, pull the lever blade gently and air will come out. you will see it.. Ali C says " doing this for years" and they agree it is the greatest thing to do for hs33... but as we see in this thread, loooooost technology!! ahahah...

  12. Just making sure, I've never bled this lever but had it since it first came out. I remembered some videos on tarty with the syringe going into the lever and exhaust going at slave?! That can't be right? I cant find anything on tarty anymore, their bleed lever video is a magura 2005 german guy corporate guy... no thanks.. Swear there was a new bleeding style people loved around 10 yesrs ago...

Is it normal maggie style, go into slave and pump oil in- exhaust at lever ? I have the special smaller barb to fit the lever.. Don't know why I thought you syringe at the lever.. Anyone put my mind to ease ?  Cant find anything online. Plenty if how to footplant videos though.

edit - I bled it twice . Normal way... It is a super short front brake cable bled with trialtech fluid- still feels horrendous, mushy lever all the way to the bar. It holds the brake great, but made for a woman or childs hands.  Super mush lever feel .  No way to bleed without making a huge mess, why on earth they put thay bleed port pointing up... goodness.  The rear brake is a hs33 that was bled 8 years ago- feels like a rock compared. 3 times the length...

Are there any levers that are stiff these days ??  Are the carthy model any different? looks identical but shinier

Racing line ?  Stick with the 05 maggie lever?  Have they figured out vee brake adaptors? This going in an inpulse w 4 bolt only fork.

  14. Wow I remember like yesterday you were toying about with the idea of having a shop...

Those of us in america have been very fortunate for your opening, ordering from you and a usa store- your part always got here before theirs.  Major beacon for trials , you already know this, best of luck in the future Adam.

    Thank you for Tarty Bikes

  15. I recently ebayed some nice saint hub rear wheel for a vintage build but didn’t realize that it came with a shimano oversized centerlock rotor that they only made for one year (2011??12?) for this saint hub :(

Any options to find one? The normal channels have no luck, can i buy a 3d printer and fab my own? do the new printers work w steel yet ? :)  i guess no rear brake for now..

  16. 60”+ sidehops , if you count going to front wheel (we al know from two wheels to two wheels is the only real sidehop)

No more taps allowed, too aggressive and cool looking- they do an uber gay move up to front, around 15 feet high.

Also no more gaps to rear allowed , only to front- extra points when they take one foot off and dangle it like a disjoined limb for weight balance.  I’d consider it a five but thats what gets all the hits  on insta
