  2. no because the chain actually rubs on the mounts :/ and im definetly going to cut them off just need to know the best way to do it and also where to do it cheers
  3. right i have a monty 220 kamel and i want to run a bash plate and also a bash ring but everytime i try to set up the bike there always seems to be a problem with the chain rubbing on the frame so i have decided o cut off the bash plate mounts and just run a bash ring can somebody please tell me the best places to cut it and the neatest way that will keep it strong, thanks

  6. If i was you i would get some blue rockman pads with CCN backings and a sharp grind work's great in all weathers.

  9. yes its fine to bleed them with water it make the brake feel a lot nicer. one problem with bleed them with water is that they may freez in the winter.

  11. It depends on what you wan't to ride if you riding natural i would go for the monty. if you or riding street ride the zoo.

  14. If i was you i would get a 26" just because you or quite tall also it will be easy to hop about and geting on back wheel. I am about 5.11 tall and i ride a 20" monty 220 kamle and it is a bit small for me so i would reccomend a 26".
  15. Doesn't look to bad to me but if i was you i would get someting like a monty, zoo or onza one of the bigger brand. Also it depends on what you want to ride natrul or street. If you set up the v-brakes right, they can work just as well as a Magura HS33 the pads you want to get for the v-brakes or Spanishfly pads they work good in all weather. Also get other peoples opinions to.

  18. I ridie with a 180mm disc brake and it hold very good. I used to have a 160mm disc brake that was good but not as good as a 180mm disc brake. Bigger the disc beter the bit and grip. I would advise a hope Mono disc brake you can get them of tartybikes they or £150 hope i helped

  21. I am haveing some problms with my disc brake it seem to be rubbing all the time.   22. I've need to buy a brake lever for a Bb7 cable brake before and so far so good i would highly recommended this lever because its cheap and does its job http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=10128&category_id=71 hope it helped.

  25. I have had this problem before you need to take the profile a part and make such they is no snapped spring or pawl and if they is repalce them. Also you may need greas some part that need Greaseing but make such you don't put to much grease on as this will make your profile not as loud. also make such the lockring is tight because if you don't your driver will fall of. And the last thing it could be is the profile Hub Shell it sound like it need a Service i hope it work for you.
