Hey guys, i have halo combats that seriously need to go on a diet.
Drilling them out myself, is this a good or a bad idea? any advice is graciously reveived!

Im new to the forum!!
just building up a trials bike.... not done any trials for about 7 years! but thought it wouls be fun to get back into it!
just buying bits now!!
Koxx Levelboss frame, an putting the rest together from random bits lying about at home and some ebay specials!!
Gone a bit overboard and bought myself some 6pots on 8" rotors!!!! we'll see how that works out when all the bits arrive!!
Does anyone know anything about drilling out rims? i have some Halo Combats at home, which weigh a tonne, so am thinking of drilling them out.... any ideas if this is a good or bad idea?

ah cheers guys,
will save up for new ones eventually, but for now im just building a bike with what i have already and wondering if it was worth the time and effort of drilling them out!!
