  1. Got it off ebay with bashring for £50 Quite a bargain.
  2. Nice vid Liked the metal touch with AILD. Recommend not asking for validation, it's in the sticky post at the top of the forum.
  3. It's a shame you're not a drummer I'm just getting back in to trials too. How long has it been since you rode?
  4. The Tensile Urban Legends, getting an 18 tooth 96 click free-wheel, and I'm not sure about the sprocket size, I'm used to riding a slightly lower gear than most people use (when i rode stock). Cheers for the help, much appreciated.
  5. I have ordered the Onza (Tensile) crank set to go on my build, and also a trial-tech rear wheel set up (The £45 off Tarty) Can I run a front free wheel? It;s completely new to me the whole front free wheel thing. Cheers guys.
  6. It depends on what sort of trials you're looking at doing, back when I first started, 24" trials was nearly unheard of, but a lot of street riders are using them now. I found this on the Onza site, it may help. it's going to be biased as its from there own site, but i've not ridden one, and they are pretty new out, so i doubt many people will have one yet. Generally Onza are a good make to go for when first starting out. "For 2010 Onza re enter the 24” market with a vengeance. Carefully researched over a couple of years this model represents many hours of hard work and testing. The 24” market is a rapidly growing segment which many feel is a great combination of both Trials and BMX. Less unwieldy than a 26” Stock bike and more street friendly than a 20” Mod bike. Some exponents of the class and style of 24” sreet riding are making great headway with their U Tube videos and interest in the genre is growing fast. The Zoot is a great, flicky bike with true trials geometry but the style of an oversized BMX. Great attention to detail has made it a new start up in the range with many unique components and features. Starting with the alloy frame, with horizontal drop outs and disc mounts and Onza forged headtube The frame has built in pivotal seat fitting and the geometry is well researched. Special 24” front fork which has disc mounts and correctly positioned vee brake mounts for 24” wheels."
  7. I remember the FIRST time I ever went out, My friends brother was riding a Kona and did a smooth drop, I thought "yeah, give that a go" Low gear, heavy bike and a short run up... ...Sprained ankle and a very saw head. Ouch! :$ EDIT: Doesn't sound too embarrassing, but when there are loads of people watching you near a main road, it was horrific..
  8. Read the sticky posts at the top of the new member chat. Explains it all there.
  9. That's awesome All That Remains go pretty good with trials clips
  10. I'm guessing you can grind as well as use tar?? Or is that just a bit silly?
  11. Years ago I think people were using cooking oil or Vodka for a budget side of things. I'm not too sure if that's the best idea though.
  12. Haha, oh dear. Maybe I should have checked that, sorry mate. :$
  13. This might help. Echo rims review

  15. I can remember a few spots, but I always used to ride in Oxford.
  16. Awesome gaps! looks like you got some pretty good spots there.
  17. That's true, when i started i was using a Raleigh Urban Swamp with triple clamps Going from that to a trials bike, made a huge difference.
  18. That's the thing, i don't have them yet. So should i just go for the standard ones? Cheers dude.
