  1. My right foot is my strong foot but my left foot is my front foot when riding. It means I perform a half pedal to get my right foot forward to put the power down getting the front wheel up etc - but I'm really uncomfortable doing endos and hops with my right foot forward. For street stuff it's okay as I just start a little further back to allow for the half stroke before the power kick. I just feel it might inhibit my ability to perform anything with any real precision. Anybody else had this problem? How'd you get over it? I feel it's a little "old dog new tricks" to change my riding style drastically as I've been riding the same way for 21 years now! Any help and advice is appreciated.
  2. Ride With Danny MacAskill competition closes tomorrow - open to everyone of any riding ability. I'm sure you all know about it but it just popped up on my Facebook so I thought I'd share it with you all just in case!
  3. Hey, Is it the same process as rubber grips, hairspray and speed? Cheers!
  4. That's kinda like asking "Which jam is better, strawberry or raspberry?" They're similar but with some differences. If you can try them both on, they'll both fit a little differently and look a little different on your head. Also take their overall aesthetic into account as it is important. They pretty much are the same helmet though so it may potentially boil down to price.
  5. Recons are amazing helmets! I owned one before upgrading to a POC Trabec after coming off my AM bike quite spectacularly in Wales! I have a 62.5cm head and it fitted me perfectly! The only other helmet near that price I would recommend is the Fox Flux.
  6. Got my bike back. Rides like a dream and the hub sounds incredible!! Brake squeal is a bit mental but I'll get used to it!
  7. Holy moly, I finally get my bike back on Wednesday morning! Can't wait! Free to arrange rides now chaps.
  8. Unfortunately chaps I won't be getting my bike back today. Safe to say I'm livid.
  9. I've never been there before I don't think. I'm definitely up for it as long as I get my bike back! I can text you tomorrow Mitch to confirm as and when I'm on two wheels but don't let that stop you meeting up with Diego ahead of me and going to a pedal!
  10. Well I've not had a phone call so I'm gonna have to try in the morning and hope for the best. Nothing to stop you two heading out and me meeting up with you. I have Mitch's mobile number now so finding you wouldn't be too much of a ballache. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow too. Ideally we need somewhere not too busy as I'm not sure about your level of riding but I'm definitely a beginner! You two arrange something and I'll let you know in the morning whether I'll be attending! Fingers crossed.
  11. From Sutton I can get to Victoria pretty easily. The district line is a good idea as you can take your bike on the district line out of peak hours. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/tube-map-bicycles1b.pdf Here's the TFL's map of where you can take your bike on the tube. As I've said it's all down to whether or not I get my bike back today, hopefully tomorrow morning. If I hear nothing today I'll be phoning the shop at 9am tomorrow to find out!!
  12. It's all down to whether or not I get my bike back from the shop. Otherwise I'd just be jumping around like some parkour wannabe making loud squeaking noises to emulate the brakes!!
