it sure is. Infact, my mate punctured his rear tube (19") and we stuffed my 26" tube in which worked a treat!

Guess it depends on your riding style but I felt a lot more comfortable on the back wheel, found I could preload a lot more and generally everything felt less forced if you know what I mean.

Decided all my money from my results in august is going into a no expense spared 2012 Pure build. As many new parts as I can afford, built around what I like so I dont have a bike that feels old and unsuited!

it is a big reduction but personally i don't think it's actually that cheap just for a caliper and rotor.
