  1. Ah thank you very much! Time to find myself a bike!
  2. Oh right, is it just these brakes that you can water bleed then? Not any hydraulic brakes.
  3. Are smaller bikes easier to learn on? I really will be learning the basics so I need it to be as easy as possible, because I have hell of a lot to learn!
  4. This has really confused me? Does this mean that the brakes are using water instead of hydraulic fluid?
  5. Yeah I hope so, everyone on here seems really genuine. On average, How long does it usually take until someone gets validated?
  6. Being newbie myself I don't completely know for sure, but from what I've heard, 20" bikes are much easier to ride and to learn on. I'm sure someone else on here can help out a bit more.
  7. I'll have a look on Winstanley's, although I think I'll get a better equipped bike if I buy it second hand? It could work against me and I could end up with a bike in terrible condition, but let's hope not.
  8. That's very helpful, thanks. As soon as I get validated I'll definitely get in contact with people on here. There's a few mods that I like the look of. Thanks a lot.
  9. A good friend of mine bmxs and he's certainly not stick thin, but he's quality. I'm very new to trials, but I'm sure the same is true... Welcome to the forums from a fellow newbie!
  10. What do you guys think is the best bike I could get my hands on for £200 or less. I've literally had a go doing trials once or twice, but I want my own bike to practice, to see if I'm up to doing it more frequently. Any ideas of what I could get for £200? Cheers
  11. Does anyone know where i can find some how-to videos about how to do the basics of trials biking? Like back hopping and stuff? I tried today, and I'm pretty sure my coccyx is broken, so I'd really like some help haha Thanks!
  12. Yeah, I'm really new to this... Are stock and mod bikes suited to different sized riders? Or is it just what someone prefers the feel of?
  13. What's up guys? My names Ryan and I'm new to trials in general, as well as the forum. I had my first real go riding today on my mate's Base bike, and fell from a wall and murked my arm. So i won't be riding for a few days.... Hopefully I'll be able to buy a bike from someone off the forum soon, and I'll be riding in St. Albans, Hertfordshire. If there's anyone around, let me know. Cheers! x
