Wow 180 pounds!
At this price wouldn't it be worth getting this one?
umm i don't know my mate has a Onza Cleaner which has similar parts to this but by what i have seen it looks really clunky
watch this video and you will see what i meanalso if there is a bike you like and you find it somewhere cheaper TartyBikes will try and match the price of that bike but if its a really low price say over £100-£150 lower they may not do it because its making it a lot cheaper than it usually is

Hi guys,
I've just signed on so I think I should say hello.
I'm currently based in London and riding BMX but I wanted to try trials and see how that fits me.
I'm not looking for a 20"..I think I'll just start with a 26" as further on I might want to move on to a 24".
On tartybikes I saw the Onza Hitman (http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_trials_bikes/onza_hitman/c47p10275.html) as it is the only affordable one. I know it won't be much good but could it be ok for starters?
I don't want to be spendig money on something I might not pick up.
Do you think I could get a better deal looking through used bikes?
if you do bmxing the best thing for you is to move to a 24" Bike because they are more street based riding. I ride a Onza Zoot and it is a really good bike to start on. I got the bike at Christmas time for i moved on from bmxing but i wasnt very good at bmxing since i got a onza zoot i have improved a lot it is a nice bike to ride but then that is my opinion
-
it is alright but it is depending on what type of riding you will be doing if it is road biking then i guess that bike would be alright as long as you don't do anything major to damage it say try tricks if you were wanting to move on from road it would not be a wise thing to do with those sort of bikes especially from halfords they may say they are No. 1 bike specialists but most halfords aren't reliable

ive got one for sale if you want it? £25 posted. pics here..
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/buysell/item/39-avid-juicy-3-2010-2-weeks-old-with-extras/
it was always good on mine, but swapped to 2011 hs33's now. It would be even stronger if run with a 203mm rotor too.
Sorry my mate said he would sell me his Hope Mono M4 Disc Brake for £20
-
Does anyone know if the Avid Juicy 3 is a good disc brake for trials? I am thinking about getting one for the front and I want to know if it has any good reviews
-
what i think would be best is look through frames you like and compare the difference like in weight and if you want disc mounts or 4 bolt mounts featured on the bike or even both

stick to basics at first and once you can do something quite well move on to something a bit different thats what i have been doing, i'm just practicing my pedal kicks and they are coming along alright
-
90mm and 20-25 degree rise, is good for 24, but if you want to go abit more side hoppy go for around 100-110. Take some spacers out or put some more on to get your right height.
Yeah i have been looking at ones that are 110mm and i reckon 20° stem would be about right. I might go for Trialtech Race Welded Black, 110mm x 20° thanks for the help i will check that one out at some point
-
If i were you i would go on pinkbike.com . I have heard that 26" are harder to learn on it depends what kind of stuff you are into really
-
Hi, i want to get a new stem for my Onza Zoot but i want to make it feel more trials that street. I have looked at the TrialTech stems but i dont really know what is the best angle and length for a 24"
-
what i find best is to endo and pull back as much as you can just don't worry about going over the back for you can just jump off, just pull up as much as you can
-
how much of a beginner are you? can you bunnyhop over wheel height, pedal kick, back hop, endo, pivot, sidehop, drop higher than 2', etc...? If the majority or the answers you would give are no, then it really does not matter what bike you are on, you could learn them on a road bike. If you have got to a level where you are starting to develop a bit of style then the zoot and the echo are for very different riders and very different styles, though as ali said, learning on the zoot would make you a better all rounder
I can't bunny hop wheel hight but i have the hang of pedal kicks, rear wheel hops, endo, pivot (but not 180 degrees round about 120 degrees), haven't attempted side hops and i can side drop of a wall about rib hight and im 6 foot so that wall would be round about 3/4 foot ish
-
i got a 24" because its a bigger wheel base than my tiny bmx i didnt realize 20" have longer wheel bases but i want to learn more side hope base stuff
-
I am have trouble deciding whether to get a new frame at the end of this year. I have been looking at the Echo Trial 2011 frame but i have only been doing trials for a few months i'm improving but i don't know whether it would help to do new stuff for it has no seat unlike the Zoot.
-
you will be able too but if it hasn't got the 4 bolt mount then you will have to buy the Magura Evo II Adapter
-
well its depending on what size of bike you want i have a 24" Onza Zoot but most people i know find that it is best to learn on a 20". http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media/guides/product_guide_20_inch_vs_24_inch_vs_26_inch_wheels/m8.html here is a video guide helping to choose what spec you would feel most comfortable with
-
learnt how to side drop, zap tap and at the moment i'm practicing me pedal kicks. The side drops are coming along well but its really sketchy.
-
is that the new Echo Trial Frame i have been think about getting one at the end of this year it looks so nice
-
it will rub the paint of eventually. I also have a Echo TR Rim on my bike but for
the moment it doesn't seem to have rubbed of some just yet.
-
where abouts in hertfordshire?
i think its a bit north from London so about 54 minutes away from the center
-
i have a Onza Zoot and it is a really good ride there has not been any problems with it well apart from i managed to buckle the back wheel but if you get a Onza Zoot you can easily upgrade parts where as the Inspired Fourplay will be more expensive even though it has some good parts its just £1000 more expensive

Unless they are 26" bikes they are shocking
