  1. It has 36. I know some other, more expensive, freewheels have twice that, but at around £10 it's good value for money and it's a big improvement over the standard shimano freehub.
  2. I bought a DMR revolver hub with an ACS claw freewheel for my 1.1, and think it's made a hell of a difference. You're quite limited with choices on the hub if you want to keep the rim though as it has 36 holes, and there don't seem to be many 36h hubs around.
  3. Here's a link to my new dubstep mix.... http://www.house-mixes.com/profile/Lewis-D/play/dubstep-comp-7/ Does anyone else here dj?

    Love this video!
  5. Ordered it from Treadz. It said they had it in stock on their website, but got an email from them today saying it's out of stock. They say it'll be back in stock this week though so hopefully wont be waiting too long!!! Chain Reaction Cycles sell it for the same price (£44.99) but they've only got the 36 hole hubs in red.
  6. I decided to get a DMR Revolver fixed hub and use the existing rim (it's only a week old, seems a waste not to!) and use it with a ACS Claw freewheel, which has 36 engagement points. Picked up a cheap Onza tensioner from rock n roll bikes too. It's cost £68 all together.
  7. Hahahaha! I did the same thing yesterday, slightly worrying isn't it! Counted 48 on my Hope hub, It's only got 32 holes though so I couldn't use it
  8. Glad you said that because I ordered it earlier! Hoping that it turns up tomorrow as my current hub is s**te! I've ordered a ACS claw 18t freewheel too and a dirt cheep onza fixed tensioner, but I'll probably upgrade to a sprung tensioner when I've got the money. Thanks for everyones feedback
  9. Pretty sure all the fixed ones are 32h
  10. Do you have a brake booster on your rear brake? I recently bought a 1.1 and found that the seat stays flex like hell when you pull the brake. I'm gunna get a booster to stop the flex, hopefully resulting in not having to pull the brake lever so hard.
  11. OK, so the Hope hub that I was going to use from my old bike is a 32h and the rim that I want to use is a 36h so I'm gunna buy a fixed hub and freewheel, and go singlespeed. Can anyone recomend a 36h fixed hub? Thinking about getting one of these... http://www.dmrbikes.com/?Section=products&pageType=item&category=10&CategoryName=Hubs&itemid=HUBRSSD10 What do you guys think?
  12. I was using the 15t a lot too, but I find it easier to lift the front wheel without moving forward with the 18t so I tend to stick to that now. I read somewhere that short tensioners were better because they're lighter and smaller so you're less likely to catch them. Can anyone tell us if thats true?
  13. Another question about upgrading my Phase I'm afraid. The lack of engagement points on my drivetrain is realy bothering me, so I've decided to buy a new hub. I'd like to keep the cassette for now, but change to a single speed later. Can anyone recomend a hub that'll do both? I'm looking to spend around £50. Thanks...
  14. Liking the look of this one... http://www.rocknrollbikes.com/trials/brake-boosters/woodman-carbon-booster-hs33-style.html Anyone have any experience with carbon brake boosters? It's half the weight of the Trialtech booster (and a tenner cheeper!) I know carbon fibre is a much lighter material, but is it going to be anywhere near as good?
  15. Sorry if this one's been asked a million times before but..... can anyone recomend a really light, really stiff brake booster for a Phase 1.1. Thanks
