Put a washer on the bb axel in the end, gives it the clearance needed, only time will tell if it's ok. Cheers everyone.

How wide is the BB shell? Could he have a 68mm BB in a 73mm shell?
EDIT: Forget that as it would make no difference on the drive side! Can only think the BB axle is too short, any idea how long it is?
I will check it tomorrow.
Just thought could the splines be worn down with it being loose and now it just goes on too far?
-
When the bolts are loose does it you still have the same problems?
No
-
Does it do it with the bolts loose?
Non drive side I can tighten fully, drive side needs arm pulling off slightly then you can put bolt in, but nowhere near tight enough for it to be safe to ride.
I know onzas aren't great quality wise, but I had a zoot, my mates got a zoot and another's got a blade and another a bird no problems with them like this.
It really seems as if a spacer is missing, but I don't think it is, can you put a washer on end of bb axel?
What's the best fix then?
Thanks

Anyone? How is this fixed?

Don't see how it's standard and nothings been changed from New. Although what your saying seems correct

Posting for a friend but I am trying to fix the problem. I just had a go on my friends onza vox, I noticed chain was really slack so I tightened it up at same time I checked crank bolts as they always used to come undone on my zoot and they were really loose, so I tightened everything up but when I spun the cranks it had a tight spot and a loose spot. I stripped everything down took bb out all seemed fine regressed and refitted, put non drive side arm on spins perfectly but as soon as you put drive side on it starts to bind, crank arm looks fine, freewheel looks fine no play seems to be on straight, but I did notice a semi circle mark on the freewheel where it's been rubbing, when you tightened it up it is rubbing on the bb. Is there a spacer missing or something I'm not seeing? Any help appreciated.

That will help me in the future, had a creak yesterday, just stripped front end down cleaned regreased and refitted everything, it worked but don't know exactly where the noise was.

Sick that

Those are the same as onza citrus pads
Although the picture shows lines in the pads mine are flat no lines cut in them, they also say "power pads" on the plastic backing Just like heatsinks, or is that just the make of the backings.
-
I had the onza pads on my zoot, I changed to heatsink yellows on the rear with a grind and booster and it was a lot better, they are a ridiculous price though imo. I just ordered my mate some of these http://www.discobrakes.com/?s=0&t=2&c=33&p=172& for a hs33 look identical to heatsinks but you get 4 pairs for less than the price of 1 pair elsewhere, seem to work good, unfortunately they don't do v brake version.
