  1. It's supposed to sound, this is because friction when you brake. This is only a good thing, and means that your brake works good. The black thing on you'r wheel is tar, I would reccomend you to use a angle grinder and grind the rim hope this helps//william
  2. haha yeah feels like someone (me me me me) posted an similar thread....
  3. well it started with the Danny macaskill videos. i got some info and found out that it was trial. I started to whatch more and more danny macaskill and I decided to rebuild one of my mountain bikes. it was a pretty small "Willier" that I put a rigid fork to, single speed it, removed the seat and the little "stump" and learnt backwheel hops. I whatched more and more trial videos and decided that i wanted to ride more "pure" trials. my parents bought me a real trial bike and that was a "2011 onza pro". and now I have been riding for about 3 months
  4. should i buy the heatsink yellows or the tnn lgm pads? i have a pretty small budget... please help
  5. wow didn't thought it would be this big, thanks for all the replys guys! :)
  6. well if you have the money go for the element! it's a awesome bike that you won't have to upgrade. if you don't have the money for a element, go for a zoot! they are good bikes, but i would say you have to upgrade it a bit, in that case you want: new front hub that has a disc mount, a disc brake, better chaintugs, AND a new chain! hope this helps!
  7. well i usually find some more calm music like ben howards and you name it. I usually don't listen to that sort of music but it's good when riding
  8. well, yohan triboulat has a team that do shows, one of the riders is a street/slopestyle rider. it might be that guys bike...
  9. yeah i ave heard many good things about these, should i buy them?
  10. hi I ride a mod bike. I'm currently running a 2010 onza pro, 2011 magura, neon 2-bolt booster, and Rockman blues. I wan't a new brake pad with a awesome hold and bite. I have done a massive research about brake pads and can't really decide which one i should get... so what brake pad should I get?
  11. whaaaat? why aren't you use magura instead?! is's so much better! but just take a angle grinder as everybody say
  12. so i supose i shoukd get the Tensile instead? have a nice day!
  13. hi, i got a 2010 onza pro. i need a new cheap freewheel, i know the "Echo Sl 108" is a very good freewheel, but i have to spend some more money on other parts. Which one, "Rockman 72 click" or "Tensile 60"? which one is the best, and which one is the most durable? Thanks!
  14. very nice frame! how is that freewheel holding up? and how long have you been running that freewheel?
  15. Well my mate did run a normal chain, it was ok for about 1 month then it snapped. BUT he was running it slacky as hell, you could probably lift it up 2 cm... Thats why it snapped. So i guess you could run a normal chain, just keep it oiled and with the right tension, and it should last a resonable while. but it's not as durable as a trial chain too...
  16. well, the only way you can get your bike lighter for free is to remove the bashplate. which save you like.... nothing... but you can make your bike much lighter by buying a "Echo urban 2012" fork, and then buy a light handlebar like the "Echo TR riser" this will save you about more than 1 kg, this is very much! ps I'm also a onza owner
  17. hi, are there other riders in stockholm in sweden? Feels like im the only one...
  18. be aware of that if you're going to use a disc brake at the front then you would need a new front hub that supports discs. the original zoot hub doesn't support it. but anyway, i would recommend "Avid bb5" disc brake.
  19. hi again, i must buy a new freewheel. do you all recommend "echo sl 108"? do you have to take care of it much, or can you just put it on and ride? cheers!
  20. i got a onza pro 2010. At the moment i am using some homemade chain tugs. I don't like to have chain tugs at all, and i was wondering if it is posible to use snailcams on my bike? cheers!
  21. well i don't know that much, but i would still recommend the 160 mm... go for the "echo sl" instead? here's the link: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/cranks/echo_tr/c513p11196.html
  22. thank you! i tried the blow torch, and it worked! super effective, thank you very much. and have a nice day!
  23. hi, well if you ride 20" you should go for the 160 mm, but i don't say that you can't use 170 etc. but i would recommend the 160 mm trialtech.
  24. i've recently broke my freewheel completly, when i took off the cranks my the sprocket on the freewheel fell off. so now when im gonna remove the old one with the right tools, it's stuck! but i have only tried with a 1,5 feet wrench to screv the crank arm off the freewheel. but i can't even get it to move a tiny bit. so i guess it's stuck, what do i do?
