  1. O_M_G. Just use regular big starnut and hammer. Works fine for me over a year.
  2. It seems that chain is too long. It doesnt work in any way!
  3. Can you think before type? It would be £33-43. For one sprocket.
  4. I've killed 7 290mm spokes and it does not work... It's stable. not coming off but not tight enough so chain skips under strong load. http://rghost.ru/42389101.view http://rghost.ru/42389105.view http://rghost.ru/42389152.view http://rghost.ru/42389157.view
  5. Because it feels like a real bicycle. And do cool stuff on a real bicycle is cool.
  6. I need screw on sprocket. And if I buy it on Tarty It would be stupid, because delivery would cost 2 times higher than this sprocket + wait for it 1.5 months.
  7. Are you blind or whaaaat? I can't find f*ing 13T sprocket in whole Russia! And changing drivetrain to 22:15 would be stupid.
  8. Well, because of tips I've heared here about bars/stackers is really-really useful I want to know as much as I can before changing something. Of course not without testing it by myself. Mark said that higher gear ratio is ok for pedal kicks, just it's necessary some time to get used to it and some change in technique. And now with 18-12 It's really scaring hard to do pedal kicks. So I don't know will I get used to it or I will have to change my gear ratio. Also there are no 13T sprockets in all trials shops (only 3) in Russia.
  9. It's not the same question. Cranks/wheel size affects alot.
  10. Proper whaaaaat? I need some biiiiiiiig vise. That vise need to be setted up on biiig table. I don't have a big table, and big vise costs alot. So it would be difficult.
  11. > I hate it when people over analyse this kind of shit, just ride. I feel that I need to change rear sprocket fnd calculate this to be 100% sure. Because changing sprocket may be pain in the ass.
  12. I want to say that cranks length and wheel diameter affects on effort transmission. Not only gear ratio!
  13. Don't know how to name a topic. I want to ask if i right or not in comparison, because gear ratio isn't so accurate I've tried to calculate difference between 26 stock transmission and my bike transmission. Trial stock: 26" 175mm cranks 18-15 gear ratio My bike: 24" 170mm cranks 18-12 gear ratio 18 / 15 = 1.2 18 / 12 = 1.5 175 / 170 = 1.02941176 26 / 24 = 1.08333333 1.5/1.2*1,029412/1,083333= 1,18778344 (1,18778344-1)*100=18,778344 So, it seems that transmisson of my bike is 18,78% tighter than 26 stock. Am I right?
  14. Guards and janitors in the main. They're usually act like a dicks and conversation with them is a bad idea. Today I was asked to leave spot because "I don't want to be responsible if you get hurt because of your extreme stuff!!!111" said guard. The "extreme" stuff was stuff with maximum height about 1.10m. I've tried to explain that's there are no possibility for me of hurting myself on that spot, but answer I heared: "Go to bmx park!111 blahblahblah". f**k.
  15. Well.. 18-12 seems to be OK for trials. It's different and annoying at first time, just need to get used to it.
  16. Adam, thanks a lot, but how do I get more coils? Do In need a longer spoke?
  17. I really doing something wrong - my tensioner lasts 2 minutes till come off. And before it comes off chain skipps few times. Arrrrrgh.. I want spoke tensioner, it's so cool.
  18. I will go out and test it, I think tension is not high enough. I cant do two turns around axle.
  19. Can't do like that: Spoke too short or what? I use 240mm spoke.
  20. All onza parts are really heavy. And if you can't find out maybe it's because all parts are not light enough, that makes bike in general heavy.
  21. >How could my bike weight 9,5 kg? It's not that heavy parts.. They're heavy. IT's a TANK. IF you want some gaylight bike you must spend at least $2500 plus DRILL DRILL FREAKING DRILL ALL THE PARTS.
  22. How may I leave the pin in the plate if I need to add 2 links? I need new pin to do it. And about using used pins - it's no problem. All the Russians do that for years.
