SOOOOO.. Help me please with my problem: how many stackers I need with trialtech 70-35 stem, trialtech high rise bars and element frame if I 5.97 ft tall (182cm). Now I have 3cm of stackers and it's max that I can set with sawed-off (222mm instead of 235) steerer tube on my inspired forks. Is it ok or more stackers would be better as said in the beginning of this topic? Now I know one thing - with this bars(30mm stackers, bionic riser) bike was like crap. And what about 70-35 stem? Isn't reach too short? Now with onza 100x30 stem my bike looks like:

Last time I used vee's it was terrible. Avid SD7+SD5 lever+noname cables+inspired pads+rim with half-dead grind+zhi adapters (4bolt to vee). Absolutely no control and no feeling of brakes. Bad bite and hold. So I want to try some "brakewith" riding and still don't know maybe I was doing something wrong? Maybe some good cables (like odyssey linear) and good grind with pads for grind turn my brakes into brakes than crap like it was. Or maggie really so good? Main arguments against maggie: 1)I would tear hose sometimes 100% and omfg it will be so frustrating. 2)it's more expensive. 3)It can leak. But control and good bite and hold are most importantly for me. And evo mounts are bad or ok?

On complete Inspireds steerer tubes are precutted?

When I changed my bars to TT HR, oh my god.. I had got a Bike! This thing before TT HR was more likely a stool. High rise is sooo comfy and controllable. And also I want to know: is it OK?

I don't really have a choice) Want to accept this offer: Inspired Element Gray, TT wheel, TT sport lite BB and tensioner for 286 pounds. All stuff 1 year old
-
What do you think about it? Know nothing about rims, they're strong? And TT Lite BB strong enough for some big drops and stuff?
-
It's OK. In Russia at least.

Can get this pair for 80 pounds. Used in XC, no leaks and problems. And mounts can be adapted through long bolts to any rotor(or just buy 180/200 adaptor). What do you think?

>you need to be in clothes that make you look like the michelin man to stand -30 degrees!? Absolutely not. Just like some snowboard clothes (maybe even lighter). Just temperature says nothing about how cold outside. Air humidity and wind have very strong impact on heat conduction from your body.
-
It's not so bad. -15 is ok to ride, -10 and higher is warm. I love winter, just want it to be shorter(on 1 month though). But sometimes it's good to ride even in -30 (some sunny day without wind). Just need to be more active and wear right clothes. Temperature isn't a problem - snow and ice is.
-
But in Lapland warmer than in my city now)

Thanks for numbers, but I want to know how it affects riding.

What would change?

Why are you so tender? And actually I like modern trials, just don't like to ride it, but I have nothing against it(just don't like that almost all frames on the market are stick-like now). >They think we're a bunch of twats. Wow, wow, wow.. wait a second. Street-trials are trials too! What people think? Some random people are admired by our riding, some hate it in oldman style like "don't ride on lawn!!111", some hate our riding because it's NOT EARNING MONAY AND NOT GETTING the NEW COOL CAR AND CLOTHES LIKE OTHER DO, LIKE MAJORITY DO AND YOU ACT LIKE A FUCCEN RETARD KID RIDE A BIKE IF YOU ARE OLDER THAN 12 IS STUPID and other stereotypic crap. Anyway I don't care about what people say or think. I love riding and never stop. Only if fall out of that love.
