  1. Hey guys, I Have been bitten by the VW bug. I'm looking to take my test in the next few weeks, Now as a first car I'm pretty convinced I want Either a VW gold Mk 1 or a camper van, preferably the real classic ones not the squarish type. So i just want to know a few things: Is insurance considerably higher on a Golf than a Corsa? Would a camper be an ok car to start with, as they are slightly bigger than you bog standard metro? where can i find a Mk 1 gold 1.4 or smaller for around £750-100? what sort of condition would a typical Mk Golf 1.4 be in for that price? are they expensive to maintain? I would be very grateful for any helpful replies. Rick
  2. £14 for a pair of pads is cheaper than its competitors, and They are of higher quality imo.You must have been looking at the 'Coust Sinks' with the CNC'ed backings, and even so i have had a go with those bad boys and they are worth every penny. Im currently running the new 'snowy' pads on a light grind and they are fantastic.
  3. That has to be the nicest stock I've seen in ages, mentally good looking and That metal finish is ace. The front tyre looks quite fat and bouncy for some reason too.....
  4. Took the words right out of my mouth, If this guy has no variety in his riding,Cls has Sweet FA.
  5. When I say big move, I mean something which the public see as a big move, Drops and gaps always go down well, Fast exciting stuff. for example going to front wheel down a ramp is vey impressive, But to the public, It dosent look good atall. I understand why you want matching bikes there, But also having more riders will increase the variety of moves and constanly give people something to look at, I wish i was one of your riders if your going to be giving out free frames
  6. I always take loads of Vitamin C tablets, Drink loads of orange juice and smoothies , and just live off fruit and veg for a day or two, I find this helps to beat the cold, Might just be a load of bollocks.
  7. Howaboutnorickycoleman@hotmail.com This sounds like fun.
  8. Looks like a really cool rig, However one thing i noticed, was that you need more riders, As Theres so much stuff to ride but only two of you...Having a few more riders would create a bit more excitment. But the vid was pretty good, what about creating a 1 minute long teaser with a heavy sort of song and some big moves, as big moves tend to catch the publics eye mroe than tech moves, i.e Front wheel moves.....
  9. Nice vid there, And that sidehop to rail I liked the style of editing/music too, Keep it up, and we hope to see another vid soon....
  10. Looks like a really nice place.IM loving that thin platform one, looks mental. I'd love to ride some of those trails, may have to invest in a decent fuller susser at some point. And as for the Pic of you on your dads Gt, Well, You've got balls

  14. Hi, I was so impressed by the service of Steve@ Heatsinkbikes, that I thought I'd let everyone know. First of all I snapped my pad backing about a week ago doing a routine move, Didn't come off or anything but the pad just popped out and landed about 5 metres away with half the backing still stuck in the caliper. After whacking an old rimjam Pad in, I Quickly realized why i ran Heatsinks. I contacted steve, told him the story, He instructed me to send the pad to him, Which i did, then bam, I get a set of the new Snowy pads. yes thats right, Sent the broken pad on tuesday, got a New set on Thursday. I feel this this displayed excellent customer service unlike some of the other bike companies out there.I would like to thank Steve for his effort and dedication to the trials scene and his customers, Top Bloke.

  16. It all depends on whta you see as a Chav, i call the local BMXers chavs, because they have all the characteristics of chavs i.e. intimidate people in large groups, vandalise things like bowling greens. They are pikies, but they wear skin tight jeans and big sunglasses. sort that out.
  17. I run a 203 on my t-mag, which is nice, I know i could quite easily use a 185, but when you learn to use a 203 is nice to have the extra power, and it looks nuts. I would say go for a 203, you will get use to the power.
  18. Yeah nice drop, Quite smooth, That wall looks 7ft, but When you drop its looks much smaler, Strange.
  19. yeah i beleive a poll is in order, hmm i would have to say just under a year per frame....
  20. Good stuff, Could have done with not posting the same picture/place so much, but other than that looks like you've got some good riding going down there.
  21. Ok so they dont make those anymore, but if you head over to here you can pick up the more modern ones for cheap
  22. Windows movie maker has always been fine to start with, I've never progressed though. but that is certainly good enough to make a decent video.
