  1. Its pack-hard bell.

The current ram is a 4200, I looked at it. I can't get device manager to tell me anything AT ALL about the ram or the motherboard.

There was no tamper-proofing in my computer.

Do you know the exact model so we could find it on the internet and get the exact spec?

  2. You should check system compatibility first and ensure that the motherboard can support two 1gb modules. Also note the DRAM voltage if any in BIOS. As with pretty much any memory you install yourself, don't expect it to run at the speeds advertised unless you're comfortable with changing the DRAM voltage, frequency and timings in BIOS.

I'm pretty sure opening up any laptop will void the warranty (I think they have tamper proof sticky labels on the inside?)

Also to check what RAM you have when your system posts enter BIOS and there should be an option to change the RAM frequency, whatever it says (533,667,800 etc) then you have PC4200, PC5300, PC6400 respectively. Which is pretty much guaranteed to be DDR2.

Antother option would be to install CPU-Z and click on the memory tab, the DRAM frequency doubled is the frequency of the ram in your system (Readings in BIOS are more accurate)

What make and model is your laptop?

  3. 533MHz FSB, ouch.

Nothing wrong with Vista, it just seems cool to hate it.

Anyway, back on to laptops for 325 you're going to get the same thing pretty much anywhere. Dependant on what you want it for, it might be worth looking into getting a second hand single core laptop for half the price because at 325 it might be a laptop but it's not a lot of computer.

If you have an OS 'sorted' out most part of that 325 is going towards the license, so thats another thing to consider.

  4. Get a thin straw the ones that come with the cans of WD40 are prefect and wedge it under the grip and spray WD40 underneath it, slowly work it loose and it'll slide off.

  5. Hey, I'm sending this letter off tomorrow so I just need a quick proof-read check, not so much spellings but more dates and figures as the department who will get this wont be the wages department.

It makes sense to me but the dates and figures have to make perfect sense to the recipient's, thanks.

I believe I’ve been underpaid on the final of my payments made by Mecca Bingo on the 28/05/2008. I was only paid £317.68 which I believe to be a significant amount shorter than what I was expecting.

To my knowledge the cutoff dates are the 9th of each month and the payment dates on the 28th of the month, with a few days give and take Dependant on which days these dates fall up on.

I placed my notification of my resignation on the 17/04/2008 with two weeks working notification which would have made my last shift fall on the 1/05/2008.

If I’m correct in regards to the nature of cutoff and payment dates; then this should mean that I received a full monthly payment on the 28/04/2008 which I did.

Therefore if the cutoff date falls on the 9th of the month then my final payment made on the 28/05/2008 should have been for the hours worked between 09/04/2008 to 09/05/2008 effectively, as my final shift was on 01/05/2008. Then I should be owed for the hours worked between 09/04/2008 to 01/05/2008.

As my weekly working pattern gave me Wednesday and Sundays off, this would mean the total amount of days I did in service for Mecca Bingo, which I should have been paid for on the 28/05/2008 was 16 days. On a rough average of 7 hours per day, at an hourly rate of £6.42, this therefore means I’m owed 16 x 7 hour days (112 hours) at £6.42 per hour. Amounting to a total gross sum of £719.04, on top of which I was owed an estimated 45 holiday hours amounting to my estimated expected gross sum of £1007,94.

I haven't wrapped it up on introduced it yet, IIt's just the body and whether the dates and figures make sense, there's probably a few grammar mistakes or spelling but I'll sort them out.

    Thanks again.

  6. Youll be fine fatty, just stick on some of your cool clothes, and youll be fine, spesh if your with a group of people who are all like 20, if you all get id'd just say you lost your wallet last weekend, and you dont have a passport/

oh my god that works everytime!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: note the amount of exelmatshoiun marks

  7. Generally I go for girls with a personality, not with a decent hair cut. As I would hope the same reason a girl would fall for me.

If you're that insecure about your hair cut then speak to a hair dresser.

  8. Ctrl+Enter after typing in URL name without http reference e.g. google then Ctrl+Enter

usually that will take you to a .com website but you can change that when you type in about:config in the firefox address bar, I'll explain further tomorrow when I'm not as drunk :S

  9. It's just a case of trial and error, could be the graphics controller, short circuit, problem with the motherboard, PSU or dodgy connection. Unless you have a basic knowledge and can diagnose and breakdown the possibility to what it could be, it's just going to mean having buy a bunch of new parts. I would start with the PSU though, good luck. If you're not that confident though just take it to a computer shop.

It's harder to diagnose a problem without being infront of the actual computer, or maybe thats just me. Like I said though just because the PSU powers the fans and lights doesn't mean it's in a 100% working condition.

  10. lmao i dont think so, you do realise your paying for pixels and the amount of time it took to make the player, not buying the ACCTUAL character, 2 grand lmao.

    Mat

I haven't used for 3 years and wont use again. If someone shows interest then generally why would I refuse?

If you have something you don't want/use/need and is no value to you, then why not try to make something out of it?

It's a hard concept to grasp, I know.

And to recap I didn't ask for 2k; RETARD.

As for buying pixels, what the hell.. What the hell does that mean? How can you buy a pixel? Perhaps you mean a collection of pixels structured together with an electrical current to form an image? Just like a monitor! Wow! That's clever isn't it! God, I'm a dickhead!

  11. Anyway to answer your question; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magners

I've never known a shitter post ever in the history of TF that had the most relivent infomation contained within it.

Commercial cider production was started in Clonmel, County Tipperary in 1935, by local man William Magner.[1] Magner bought the orchard off a Mr Phelan from Clonmel. Magner quickly established a successful business, and in 1937 he joined forces with the English cider-makers H. P. Bulmer and Company.[2] Dowds Lane in Clonmel was the location of this burgeoning enterprise. In 1949 Magner withdrew from the business and the Bulmers name came to the fore. However H.P. Bulmer maintained international rights to the Bulmers trade mark, which prevented the Irish company exporting the brand from Ireland.
  12. People used to pay £300 for an account that had been made good? Shiiiiiit.

That's noting, back in the day of the classic version of the game, I saw characters sold for 2000+.

They also have these very rare party hats which were dropped in Christmas 2001 as a little novelty item which was just a variety of different colored party hats which do absolutely nothing apart from show. I'm pretty sure they would still sell for 200+ on the rs cheat markets. Although obviously it seems as the game gets bigger, more people get high levels and value goes down.
