  1. Peel the layer from that tarty days sticker. It's a vinyl transfer.

Lol I know... Its just tape ive put over the tartydays sticker so it wont go off with the vinyl when I get bored of thevinyl and take it off...

  2. So I decided that my arcade needed a bit of refreshement. We all know that the best way to refresh a bike is to change its color. I didnt want to use paint as I still want to conserve the awsome matte black paint with the arcade logos. Some of you might remember the plastidip fourplay I did long ago, well now i will be using vinyle wrap as plastidip isnt solide enough for bike use...

    Enjoy

    1. Got some sweet vinyls, chartreuse it will be!

    2. They gave me a pretty big sample as it was just some waist from an other job, so I managed to do quit a lot already :

Will keep you updated on my progress! I hop you all like!

  3. The red is a really nice colour.

    What adapters will you use?

The hope ones seem to be the nicer looking sets. Worth purchasing.

Sadly the disc mount is differnt on the new frames. I brought a disc

Mount, used for a week then found I had a cracked frame.

what? You cracked the new arcade frame?

  4. I uSe the trialtech pads in saints with 8in rotors on my arcade.

The brakes really are amazing. I always have plenty of brake power.

    Well worth using.

Man your bike is pimp, I love the new red arcade!

Yeah I think I'll go with slx 203mm, I just go the trialtech pads and the adaptors for the disc..

    New grips aswell (A)

  5. Hey, so i'm thinking of getting some 203mm rotors for my arcade.

What do you guys think? Front and rear 203mm, or just front 203mm?

I'm currently using some 180mm icetech rotors with Saints.

What would be the best rotors to use between those:

    -Shimano SLX

    -Magura Storm

-Shimano RT76 (can only get one)

    -Ice Tech

Anyone tried those saint trialtech pads? thinking of getting them aswell..

    Cheers

  6. the biggest factor is the durability between the two frame types. TGS riders seem pretty comfortable on high bb frames but just the strength seems to be the issue. Everyone seems obsessed with weight and will use parts not suitable either because there's no other option or because they have their priorities wrong. Frames used to be around the 2kg mark, now people complain if a frame is over 1.5kg and then complain when the lighter frame breaks, obviously some people want heavier frames but because people just bought lighter frames manufacturers couldn't sell the heavier ones.....I'd like to see a resurgence of more durable frames, either just designed and tested properly or just made heavier to be sure.

I wouldnt say we want heavier frames, but I'd like the compagnies to be more focused on making more durable frames then on making them lighter.
