Retro stealth.looks sweet.Don't mean to sound ignorant but what is the all of a sudden interest with ashtons lately?
-
Get it sand/shot/bead blasted.Cool finish to put on a colour tinted laquer.

I was looking for something more along the lines of a chemical, have you done it before? I have my old tyres I can try a few methods on.
Soz for late response but yes, I removed all lettering from my 26" holyrollers
this way
-
Standard thinners (cellulose equivalent).will not damage the integrity of the tyre if applied using a cloth soaked in the afore mentioned and done quickly-ish.

Didn't know he was thirty seven.Chris brown81 who started the over thities thread should check Akrigg out to allay any negative thoughts he may have had.
Also, is Mr.Akrigg from Keighley?.

Pleasure to watch. So smooth.

I thought it was cliche as f'ck, all that stuff dubbed over the top, but there's no denying that was a masterful bit of riding.
Absolutely nothing cliche about that. Music just wouldn't cut it.The dub was food for thought, RK shows that .
Cliche = A womans place is at home.

That there was 'another level'. What it must feel like to have that kind of confidance.Nice work RK.

Beautiful, well thought out.Something I would love to aspire to owning.
Is it the camera angle or my end of the week tired eyes. On the birds eye pic of the rear brake the slaves look to be offset.

Owned a montessa T15 in about 1982/3. One of the first (i think) trials specific bicycles.Packed in riding that and my Torker 280x freestyle bmx when i left school at sixteen because every body said it was kids stuff and gave me s**t.So i got rid but the bug never left me.
Then in 2011 i got myself a stock,i was 43. I am now pushing 47 and love it, love it, love it. Just wish i could ride more and get involved with group rides etc etc.

Said on Tartys it has a 15mm axle, also has anyone tapped the steerer on the element forks to take the fourplay top cap?
I have got element forks threaded for Inspired top cap-perfect.
Think I got them off sponge on here
-
or GRITQuit.
-
Bike shop Bleeds? On rim brakes?
They don't know what they are doing because if they did they would have adjusted the slaves /set them up.
or would have explained this to you so you could do it yourself.
-
mainly for front free wheel set ups so you can have two differant gear ratios with fixed sprockets on the hub.
-
Clerictgm. Inspired + world class rider/s + lots of R n D + lots of time = 15mm axles.
enough said.
sorry guys, off topic I know - but had to be said.

Velo lock-ons with the flange cut off. Thinnest of this type of grip i've seen, comfy too.
