so nice with lock on and 150mm width, crazy quality for the prize , got a pair on my skye. http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=60&products_id=524
also, their magnesium flat pedals are amazing! stiff and just 330g / £64 (even lighter with Ti-axle)

heh, this is the first that came to my mind:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeZH7es3bUMthrashing everyone riding, trying to hand out autographs to people that doesn't want them.
lol at *bad information", about your name not being recognized/praised for stuff you did 4 years ago?

It's not to do with preloading my headset, as it's ok with either.
I just wanted to lower my stem heigh
mkay, so it's simply a personal preference problem?
-
Yea I understand how it works. 3mm is to low and 5mm is to high.
Thanks for that. Shame it's in America. Will just have to wait
heh, still can't wrap my head around it, could you bother to take a pic?

hi, Tomas from Gällivare, way up north in Sweden.
works as a welder/mechanic on huge ass machines, built to crush, dig or haul ore in one of the mines around here.
did some "trialsy" riding when i was about 15-16 on a ddg shooter, smashed my kneecap trying to gap in strong wind so i've been off for about 10-11 years, until last year when i drunkenly bought a downhill bike...
found out downhill bikes aren't much fun without lift's so i bought another bike, and another, and so on...
Current bikes consist of a Inspired Skye, Fourplay, Specialized demo 8 and a demo 7, Scott FR30 and a Black market riot
got a really wonderful fiance who puts up with all my hobbies.. computers/electronics/knifes/guitars/photograhy/snowboarding/downhill etc
http://www.flickr.com/photos/wr0m/ - flickr photostream with practically everything i upload, should give a hint of what i like and do :>
cuz i'm a greasemonkey yes i am!

I'm with you there. I'm pretty sure the tolerances for headset/fork/stem set ups don't have to be too tight!
Another alternative is you could shave off 1mm off the top of your headtube,
or 1mm off the bottom of your stem.
or 0.5mm of the top and bottom of your headtube,
or 0.25 off the bottom headset cup, 0.25 off the bottom of the steerer, 0.25mm off the top of your headset cup and 0.25 off the top of your headtube!
Saying that though you'd effect your riding position by 1mm and that could be a total nightmare!!!!!!
heh, i litterally don't see how 1mm could be crucial for it to work.
as i recon they're only there for one thing, tightening the headset so the bearings works as intended, shouldn't even use much torque when setting it up.
your steerer and headset spacers aren't supposed to be level, the spacers/stem should always be a little higher than the steerer to make sure they put torque on the bearings, and not just locks to the steerer tube?
http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Tech-Tuesday-Steerer-tube-length-2012.html
would be if the star nut was in too deep/threaded steerer just too short, but then i wouldn't trust just 1mm anyway
-
just curious, how come you need exactly 4mm? (can't get my head around what would make 1mm crucial?)

if you have a bike like that.... then why do you need a fiance*?
ohh yeah, she rides aswell, now I see
she rides with me, and puts up with my hobbys
i need a house with a garage..

a little change... Odyssey seat, superstars Ultra mag pedals and size zero grips.

"This freewheel must be bedded in before trials use, to ensure any grease used when assembling the freewheel works away from the mechanism. If the freewheel is subjected to trials use without having been bedded in, the pawls will not engage correctly and this causes the freewheel to skip, damaging the pawls and ratchet. If you wish to speed up this process, you can thin the grease down with light oil like GT85 or WD40, by spraying it between the centre and outer teeth of the freewheel and rotating it. Failure to bed the freewheel in correctly will void the warranty."
i read that as "this product will most likely fail within a unreasonable short period of time, and it will be your fault."

compared to inspired skye and fourplay the zoot feels alot more like the fourplay, easier on trial stuff but kinda though for bunny jumps/wheelies etc
a 75-90mm 35 degree stem makes it alot more fun for streety stuff though
-
my pink hair is gone though, and it's just one purple wall
kids plaster do stay in place, and it's always kinda fun to smear some insecurity on "badass" guys commenting my use of colours, or just have people commenting/starting a conversation when partying ^^
i kind of dress in "douchey" clothes and adding some parts of "feminine" colours just seem to make people not judge me by the first apperance
-
cut my finger on the reservoir when dissassembling a coil shock, applied plaster to continue clean/sort stuff without having a piece of skin flapping around with blood coming out of me, and shit coming into the cut.. are you saying there might be something more to it?

This one.
It will make your boxxers into a +20 is same as some trial bike forks.
I think your is hope caliper is +20 also so it will need a 203 rotor with this mount.
heh, tanks for the help, but i was merely pulling your leg :/
-
You need a hope post to is adaptor. To fit to that mad mad creation.
Please tell me what do you intend riding on it too?
strictly street/trials, so damn tired of hurting my wrists while doing drops so i thought i go for a little more plush front...
EDIT: haha, jokes aside, i was just bored and had a boxxer lying around... 100% sure that it would work if i just put a 203mm disc up front (source, IS M4 on another boxxer i had)
now that it's back to normal i almost regret i didn't fit the fork properly and took it for a spin though.
-
yeah, so i've just put my new fork on but i need some kind of adaptor for my front brake? which one?
this is how it looks now:
think i'll should go for another stem now since it is kinda high in the front?

sweet! doesn't it feel crazy high with that shim stack on the hs and what seems to be 75x35 though?
-
as we can't keep to topic, this is a dang sweet ride, not a 24" or a bicycle, but it got two wheels!
-
out in the middle of night, mostly to test video quality on my dslr.
-
the reason why I ask it because I had only 1 disc brake in my life. that I bathed in mineral oil thanks to a dead hs11. and one of the bolt is rounded so I cant change it.
So I do not really know too much about disc brakes
heh, reason i go for only disc brake is a weighing on pros and cons, have to get perfectly straight rims all the time vs straight rotors, the hs33 sounds really loud and awful.
disc brakes are dead silent as long as you dont get water on the rotors...
and since i'm already running hope brakes on our 2 downhill rigs i'm used to them and got bleed kit with the knowledge on how to use it
i can see how hydraulic rim brakes fit onto competition trial bikes, but they aren't for us as we just like to ride around, balancing and hopping on stuff.
take the riding as a better option to sitting in the sofa all night watching shit tv-shows
my colour scheme isnt everybodies cup of tea, too:metallic red frame, white, black and neon yellow parts.
but the sky is........
....so purple!
i´m just kidding you man.
no trolling intended.
like the pic of the fourplay a lot,it matches nice with the glass ornaments
make sure you marry your gf if she starts riding, most likely to be a one-off thing with women lol
haha, just got to say that i love your way to see £50 IKEA glass doors as "ornaments"
Full Sus or Hardtail?

depends on what you mean with "get thrashed through the woods", but some kind of full susp enduro/xc bike with a lockout fork/rear would probably be versatile enough..
