  1. Duly noted, my very own copy is ordered and on it's way!
  2. Have you come across Shazam? It's an app that you play music to, it goes off onto the internet and works out what it is and tells you. It's not infallible but it'll manage it 9 times out of 10 so it might be able to tell you.
  3. Thanks for the help, managed to find one cheapish so hopefully when that turns up it'll go on without much trouble. I'm pretty much a complete beginner, but I can trackstand well enough for mtb purposes, i.e. waiting for people to open gates, but it's not really cutting it for trials so that's what I'm concentrating on at the moment. Since I've not got a back brake anyway I've been practising either with just the front brake or both brakes off which got me wondering whether there's an advantage to getting used to doing it without using brakes? My thinking is that since balance is pretty damned crucial that learning to rely on the brakes to stop myself pedalling forward in trackstands might be a bad habit to get into, any thoughts?
  4. I've looked at TartyBikes before and they have this http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/rim_brake/magura_hs33_complete_lever_2005/c557p329.html but that's a newer model than what I've got and I wasn't sure whether it would be compatible... Plus it costs almost as much as the bike did. But to be fair that's what I get for making stupid impulse purchases I suppose! Will give them a call tomorrow. I'll hang on to it for a bit anyway. Is anyone planning any sessions that I could tag along on any time soon? If not where can I find good practice spots in Manc? I'm going to be living in Cadishead to the west but don't mind driving a bit.
  5. Hi all, I've been wanting to have a stab at some trials and bought this old Onza T-pro for 50 quid last summer, it's a bit creaky but otherwise solid... except the rear brake lever is broken, I figured I could get a replacement fairly cheaply and easily. 6 months later and it's still only got a front brake. If anybody has any good thoughts on where I can get an old (pre 2005 I think) hs33 rear master cylinder cheap I'm all ears! But anyway, what with not having enough brakes to go round I've not really gone used it much and am wondering does anybody ride around Manchester? I'm moving there in Feb and I'm in two minds about whether to sell the bike as I don't really have room for it at my new place. However if I could find some people to ride with I think I might be more likely to actually get out on it, and maybe even cough up the cash for a second brake.
