Yes chain is the correct tension

I'm a complete noob to trials this is my first bike.onza rip few years old the only question I can answer is the cgain is tight

I don't know if this is right. But when I pedal there seems to be a lag or delay befor the chain and cogs engage.I don't know technical terms any help please .

Hi guys just wandering what are the benefits of a smaller tooth ring.I'm just starting out in trials. I brought my self a cheap 09 onza rip.only standard setup with 24 tooth ring and 18 tooth at rear wheel.it looks like it just bolts on.feel free to correct me.any help please

But won't that make my pads closer to the rim?

How do I adjust v brake lever.currently I have to pull lever all way back nearly touching bars.my pads are already set to about 3mm from rim.the brakes catch really well when applied.I can turn barrel adjuster but this just makes pad rub on rims.any help please

Took a look at crank. took left side off greased spindle refitted crank.tightened up.not sure how tight it should be but done it quite tight. And Bob's your uncle no more creaking. Unlike my bones.being a new trials rider at 30 something

Not had chance yet just getting advice before I attemp anything serious.I will keep you informed once I've had a play

Don't have a crank puller is there amother method I got a car ball joint splitter the fork type. The bike is 2009 onza rip with standard components

There doesn't seem to be any play just creaking under load while pedaling. don't feel any rubbing.when I get chance I will investigate further. if I need to remove cranks how do I do this.

Hi jumped on bike this morn and noticed cranks creaking. It happens when pedals are under load and rotating I.e. when pedaling on a flat. I not had chance to investigate yet.but how difficult is it to strip necessary components then to rebuild thanks

Ok will try that thanks.another question. brake levers.I got standard front and rear v brakes .Is it best to have a little pull or full pull backwards or is this down to personal preference
