  2. yeah, got it now - brilliant. appreciate that! i am just about to put the verniers on a few bikes here, always need to understand from an engineering perspective as i think that really increases the chances of a positive outcome, well it does in my head lol! found some really nice stuff online, my other bikes have all the nice bits so... *will ask wife for bank card and go online love the help on this forum btw - great work guys!
  3. cheers, dont mind a little work, being a moto-trials guy this is new to me, i see loads online - not overly worried bout weight as im a big guy and used to a beta and downhill bike. i assume thry are all universal and fit everything from v-brakes to maguras?
  4. sorry if this is a repost, 2 or 4 bolt booster? sorry - phone wont upload pic, bikes a 20" onza bkade, 2010 thanks!
  5. you guys are so right about frame flex and this rim grinding - im listening, still tough - loven it
  6. yip, ive a 2012 evo 300, makes a poor rider look good... at least im learning from this thread - great community guys.
  7. and also - il ask "guys where do you all favour for buying parts" cheers
  8. i hear what you say! i spend soo much time tweeking my dh bike, cleaning my beta but today i greased a few bearings - oiled a chain and sectioned the yard. brilliant no pressure workout its deffo harder than moto-trials! set up is summit i will look at. cheers guys - will deffo look at set up, just glad the wee bikes in great nick, although i ride motorbike trials this is far harder, i must admit i am sore already but its great, no pressure work out
  9. i am soo wrecked, thats not easy big smiles!
  10. cheers guys - loven the adivice, hadda take what i could get, no one wanted to post to northern ireland and it's easier to get a bike to race on the roads in my estate north west 200 and ulster gp just round the corner. so, i thought steel was strong, my we the people is 4130 through out, should i drop the steel on this and go alu? i run fat bars etc on my 2012 beta so this feels really lite - i hate the feel of carbon as i race bmx and refuse to ride such lifeless ridget materials - im old school lol!
  11. pretty pleased with this pretty pleased with this
