It is indeed haha!

New hashtagg cranks look interesting, they're very ugly but look pretty beefy

Would love to see the Lacey all built up with all black parts

Impressively fast "built to for sale" time. Seriously though, tilt your bars back a bit more, start trying to bunnyhop stuff more rather than pedalling stuff and give it a bit more time.
Girlfriend must be happy...
Seriously though, give it a chance, that's not a short frame by todays standards, and your stem's pretty long, tilt the bars back to where you know they're too far back (I saw the Arcade bars), then just work your way forwards a tiny amount each time, if I rolled my bars forward 5 degrees I'd hate my bike, it's THAT important.
Thanks for the help guys
I'm starting to think my new pass time is building bikes rather than ride them

what I have done::
Go to the lcoal car mechaniker, asked to borrow the vice, that is designed for car parts so beefy, and bought some KMC 610 chain (really beefy)
Then tartys method, dont be afraid to push the wheel hard. spokes will bend and it will be scary, but then again this is the only way to take off the sprocket.
after retension the spokes
You must have a terrible wheel builder if your spokes bend while taking a sprocket off!

At the end of the day just do what makes you happy.
If you don't enjoy something why do it?

The sort of people who want an old school Zoo wouldn't want to pay limited run titanium frame prices though, whereas comp riders who run high BB/short WB bikes seem to be happy to pump money into frames.
I was aiming more at the structure of the older style frames rather than the geometry.
The older frames seem to last whereas modern frames have a shelf life of about 12 months.
But yeah it's a good point you raised.
-
Nowadays it's all about really short high bb bikes when it comes to 20" bikes.
There's a big gap in the market for a medium/low bb mod frame and there's not really anything out there much bigger than 1000 wheel base.
best thing you could possibly do would be to get A few old skool zoo's/echos and try and copy them but with a slightly more modern geometry.

So whats the story behind the GF buying you all those bits?
Real question is what did he have to do/get her first before she bought you all the bits?
She's sick of hearing me moan on about wanting my bike finished I guess.

For anyone who was hoping to see something more street orientated i am now back on a 26" and looking forward to utilising the good weather to work on another edit soon!
Thanks guys !!
The only thing left for you now is a sponsor from Yorkshire Tea and you can then die a happy man

It's 'new' in a sense, although he's been testing that new frame for a fair while now. There were a couple of photos that got posted up on here before showing it a bit.
New brakes certainly stand out
It looks really solid. tubing is a fair size.
It makes my wallet weep just looking at it though. it certainly doesn't look cheap.

That gap to foot jam was incredible!
Can you go up to front (foot) jam?
-
It's just a reach adjustment screw. You don't really need it it just makes you able to set your lever further away from your bars / closer in.
A little pedal grubscrew would probably do the same job if you feel you need it in there.

Yea, buying a set of bars because they are the "highest you could find", is never going to end well.
Live and learn.
Managed to strip the graphics from the bars. They look pretty cool now
-
The real question: With your card?
Surprisingly not!
Not a fan of the look of the Jitsie bars though.
Now you mention it, me either!
Only bought these as they're the highest rise I could find :'(
May have to try and remove the graphics and see what the look like then.
If all fails I'll have to order a set of Inspireds.
