Loads of professional photographers shoot tethered. Examples: http://photoshopnews.com/2006/12/06/tether...g-in-lightroom/ , http://www.radugrozescu.com/photo-tech/sho...g-tethered.html I suggest you think about what you post before you post it, because at this rate, you're pissing off a lot of well respected members, and getting a bit of a reputation for being an idiot. Although you can't stand working on photoshop on a laptop, sometimes it has to be done. If you had to go to an overseas press conference to work, and you had to upload the pictures to your companies server as soon as you'd shot so they could be used in the newspapers and sent to print, you'd be stuck with using PS on a laptop, you cant just walk around and find a desktop mac setup which you can import your photos onto and work on them, it's not going to happen. Also there are loads of photo exhibitions all over the world which people have to go and cover, and take their laptops to do so. Because say you're shooting RAW on a 2GB card, thats about 500 images, and if you're going to a week long exhibition in San Francisco for example, chances are you're going to take more than 500 shots, once again another reason to take a laptop you on a shoot. Stop being so ignorant, and please please please think before you speak. You're bound to get a lot of shit on these forums because you're posting over-opinionated crap. You've insulted a mod, and plenty of other well known members, so i think you need to take a step back and think about your attitude because currently, it sucks.
