mike welding is unlikely to make it stronger if anything it will create more of a weak point around it due to it being heated etc

depends what v-brake it is. i it is a shimano xtr or an avid ulitmatewill easyily piss all over a magura. b then on the other hand ifu hae a magura with decent pads and a grind it will easyly beat a v-brake but then it depednds what you like its up to you. thanks ian

by the way mike u pinched it on the join in the rim. and it isnt a xc tube its a downhill free ride tube. it iant worth repairing you might aswel just by a new one.

i was looking at one of these for my t-rex when i had it but i think fatmike told me that they wouldnt work or somin. i think they are more for road bike use cause my boss where i work has road bikes with these headsets.

i will have t osay that the koxx vinco frame stepped up the boundrys of trials showing what you can really do with a frame, and it must of been good cause companys started making frames with bb rise.

i say echo hi-fi forks i have them on my bike and they are worth every penny

me and a mate have had zoo pads ran them for about 4 months and we found that the corners broke of the pads. leading to ripping chunks out the end but apart form that they are very good pads
